Great food and service, and a very nice atmosphere.

We have enjoyed the last few Thursday nights at Park Place on Main with a salmon salad and a glass of wine (+) and live piano music by Richie Wolf. Service was well done, salmon was perfectly grilled and a nice quality, and entertainment was smooth and Richie plays to the crowd...closest thing to a piano bar in FW! New management (Sal) has made a terrific improvement. Eat local downtown...walking distance to the 05.

I have never reviewed a restaurant before in my life, but felt the need to speak up about my experience at this restaurant. My husband and I had Valentine's Day reservations for 8:15 p.m. with another couple that met us just for drinks. When we got there the restaurant was about half full, clearly their rush was over. Once we were seated, it took quite a long time for our server Sabrina to even greet us. Once we were able to put our drink orders in, it took over 20 minutes to even get out drinks. I ordered tequila with club soda and a lime. She forgot my lime so I asked her for one. After 10 minutes and still no lime, my brother in law went up to the bar to ask for one for my drink. She finally came to our table with lime wedges 3 minutes after that. But that wasn't our only issue with drinks. My brother in law ordered Basil Hayden and my husband ordered Glenlivet 12. Neither of them got what they ordered. They both thought their drinks tasted off but didn't say anything because of the slow service and just wanting to get some food. Our waitress just kept disappearing. We finally placed our order, a salad each, lobster mac for my husband and a side of truffle mashed potatoes for me. After 20 minutes the salad came out, just one though, my husband's Caesar. She brought me out a Caesar as well but I ordered a chop salad with raspberry vinaigrette. So she disappeared for 12 minutes and then brought me my correct salad. My husband felt so bad for me because we already waited so long just for salad and offered me some of his because of how long it took. Then another 20 minutes went by and out came the rest of our food, lobster mac that had a film over it because it seemed that it had just been sitting in the kitchen, and the most laughable "truffle" mashed potatoes I've ever had. It was a small ice cream scoop size of what tasted like instant mashed potatoes, maybe even Hungry Jack. I took one bit and was done. Another disappointment. Our server never checked on us, and we had to flag her down to get our bills. Once she finally brought those over, it was a mess. We just wanted to get out of there and salvage what was left of our Valentine's Date. First she ran the drinks and food on separate bills instead of one transaction. Then my husband noticed he was charged $14 for a drink called Rock Bottom when he ordered Glenlivet 12. And my brother in law who ordered Basil Hayden got McClellan. When she came back my husband asked what the drink Rock Bottom was because he didn't order that, she got upset, took $2 out of her apron and said "Here, here is the $2 difference for your drink" and proceeded to tear up. He wasn't rude to her (he could have been after our experience) he was just genuinely asking what that charge was for a drink he didn't order. He told her he didn't want her $2, so she snatched it off of the table and just walked away. We were in shock at her rudeness and our whole experience. We didn't even bother with a manager because we were disgusted. We were so excited to go back to our first date spot over 4 years ago and have a nice romantic Valentines and were left disappointed and upset. I will never be back to this restaurant and would encourage everyone else to choose one of the many restaurants in town with far better food and service then what Sabrina gave us.

Even though there wasn't a kid's menu for lunch, the chef made my three old son the cutest little burger for him.

This was the worst service I've ever experienced. We were here for 15 minutes before we got our drinks. 1 hour until we got our food. 2 hours before we got our bill. I ordered a bourbon and received scotch. My sister in law asked for a lime for her drink and after waiting 15 minutes, I just went up to the bar and got it myself. The mashed potatoes tasted like they came out of a box. If I could give zero stars I would. Don't dine here.

The food is excellent. I truly enjoyed my chicken dish as well as my shrimp appetizer

Upscale dining with a full bar, free parking in the attached garage. Limited, carefully chosen menu, attentive service. Outside seating overlooks a neighboring Park across from a busy boulevard, an area art museum and performing arts center.

I was very disappointed in my recent visit. We initially planned on trying PP as part of the Savor Ft Wayne event. After making reservations, we discovered that PP was no longer participating in the event. The food was overpriced for what we received. The pork chop was very dry. The salmon was tiny as well as the few sprigs of asparagus that came with it. The coconut dipping sauce for our shrimp appetizer was very watery. We will not be returning.

I've been here twice and both times service and food was superb!!! I got salmon once, with lobster Mac and the next time the pork chop with green beans. Both phenomenal.

Currently sitting here in the restaurant. It's not busy at all. Ordered drinks. Still waiting 30 minutes later for the drinks. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a restaurant. We had a party of 18. They had 3, maybe 4 people working. it was kitchen help having to cook, serve, and bartend. My wife ended up helping serve our drinks. Two hours later and our steaks weren't even started yet. At this point we left.

I flew in from Atlanta to celebrate my sis in law 50th Birthday Dinner and enjoyed my food selection! I usually order salmon when I dine out, but this time I switched up and went with the Walleye Fingers, I was not disappointed, it was delicious! The chef did a fantastic job and he even came out to confirm we were satisfied, as well as the floor manager! Our server was pleasant and accommodating. I told the manager I was going back to Atlanta to let it be known Park Place rocks!

Stopped in last night with a friend. We weren’t super hungry so we split the penne pasta and it comes with a side so we got salads and also mash potatoes the food came out in timely manner and everything was really good. No complaints with the food what so ever. However the bartender customer service wasn’t the greatest. It wasn’t busy by any means and she seemed more interested in someone who seemed to be her boyfriend at the bar instead of her customers. Would come back for the food but would grab a table instead of sitting at the bar.

Awesome. I was there for a private event and the service and food was amazing.

Their food and atmosphere are good. I would have recommend the chicken n waffles..... but they took it off the menu. So I suggest the almond crusted walley fish n chips. The fish is perfect and the fries are amazing!!
