I originally wasn’t going to leave a review as this is something I don’t typically do, but after sitting on it I feel I should. My friend and I went to this restaurant to enjoy Powers for what I remembered it to be before the transfer of ownership. Unfortunately the experience we received was anything but. We came in around 12:30 - 1:00 in the afternoon and were hoping to dine in. Since the restaurant was busy, there was no seat to sit at which is no big deal. The problem came when we placed our order. My buddy and I typically like our burgers without onion and sauces. While we understand that is not the standard for a Powers burger, onions and extra sauces just aren’t our thing. When placing the order, we got dirty looks from staff and their comments insinuated that we should’ve ordered them with the condiments despite not liking them. This was further reinforced when listening to the cook call out someone’s order (who placed their order 2 people after us) with the loud comment “You get yours before everyone else since yours have onions.” It just felt like none of the staff was patient with us and that’s something we valued with the original staff and owners of Powers. The food itself was great, but the experience was soured by the lack of patience and feeling like we ordered something we shouldn’t have. While I enjoy the food here, my friend and I who came in today will most likely not be returning for some time to see if anything changes.
Decided to get powers for the first time in years and was sad to say it was extremely disappointing in multiple ways. We ordered online says pickup was in about 20 minutes no problem. We get to the pickup window and aren’t acknowledged for a while and just decided to go in. A lady asked us what we needed and we said we had an online order and she said ok, a few minutes later and we are acknowledged again by another crew person asking us what we needed. We said again we are here for a pickup order. We continue to wait and wait and people ordering that just came in we’re getting their food before us and on their way. We got a text message about 10 minutes later saying our order was ready for pickup but no one has our order so we continue to wait and wait. The lady who earlier acknowledged us then climbed on the counter standing on it with two feet to grab a coffee cup from high above, a customer said you need to wipe the counter off and she said they don’t pay her enough to care. At this point after waiting 30 minutes I’d seen enough and wanted to go. One of the cooks shouted out is anyone still waiting on anything? I said yes we are still waiting for our online order and proceeds to go looking for it, finds it and then we are finally on our way. We ordered 12 cheeseburgers and a fry and all of it was lukewarm and so disappointing for almost $30 dollars.
The social media interactions are HIGHLY amazing. Although ive never eaten here, I know it is a highly recommended local place. My dad wants to try it. Knowing it’s on doordash, makes me want to order. It’s very mouth-watering
Tried powers today for the first time under new ownership, as soon as I walked thru the door I was greeted by the server and Alex. It was a very friendly and welcoming environment. I tried 2 cheeseburger sliders , fries 🍟 (which I was surprised to see they had in the menu) a double cheeseburger slider and a piece of chocolate cake! Everything was fantastic I highly recommend this place and give them 5 ⭐️ Thank you! I will be back 🙂🫡
Stopped by tonight after work. Brandy, the manager makes you feel like family. Great service & Food. The Best chili dog and burgers anywhere. White castle can take a hike. It needs to be franchised! Will definitly be back again.

Brittany provided me with great customer service. The burgers are still great and I along with many other Fort Wayne lifelong residents are glad that one of the staples of our city is still going strong even with the changes in ownership.

Had my first cheeseburger at the Electric Works. Texture and taste were not at all to my liking. Sort of a downgrade from White Castle, if that's possible

An institution frozen (the location not the beef) in time the most delicious way possible. Thank God they have not changed this gem of a burger restaurant offering food joys multi generationally to those fortunate enough to have grown up in the area.
Epic grilled onion burgers, malts and tasty chocolate cake, I hear there are pies as well but I haven't got that far yet.
I look forward to coming back and expanding my coverage.
They now have a location in the electric works building though I don't know the hours.
