The service was a bit slow, but that was for to a staff shortage as opposed to inability. Overall, our server was exceptional. Food was very good, and the bacon, in particular, is the best I've ever tasted. This is the second time I've been here for brunch and have not been disappointed in the least. We look forward to going back.

the food was so so good i would have given it an 11/5 if i could have. genuinely would like exactly the carnitas benedict every single day forever if possible. however, with this being a family friendly environment despite the focus on alcoholic beverages, be prepared for screaming and crying children. it felt like every time i opened my mouth to say something, a comedically timed scream would leave a nearby child. not exactly the ambience i was looking for, but honestly the food was good enough ill just bring earplugs next time.

We came to Próximo for my partner's birthday. He had been before, I had not. The service we received was exceptional. I want to commend our server Kayla especially, who took such amazingly good care of us and helped make our night really special. She was so friendly, made some great recommendations, and helped us pick the perfect birthday dessert option. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was delicious - and very generously portioned! Overall, this was a really wonderful visit and I'm happy we chose Próximo for such a special occasion.

I wouldn't recommend the Breakfast Tacos or the French Toast. The tacos were smaller than expected, as well as the French Toast. Not enough berries on the toast, and too much caramel sauce. The lemon and blueberry pancakes are a better value for what we paid. We've been here once before, and had a better experience that time.

Food and service were both average. Not great, but not terrible. Slow service, especially when I consider they were not busy at all (many open tables) but it was a Saturday night and we had no wait, so that was a plus. I ordered a drink from the bar I never received.

We went to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday. Everything was fantastic. A few of our most favorite things were the milk punch cocktail, sweet and spicy plantains, Bloody Mary lobster ceviche, shrimp and grits and the halibut entree. Our waitress Stockard could not have done a better job! We will def go back.

Our server was amazing, very attentive at the appropriate times and well versed with the menu. I have been to Proximo for breakfast, but never for dinner, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Thank you!

Our table was wobbly and when I asked for something to be placed below the legs, the waiter shook the table, spilling the water in my glass all over. Then he and the manager realized it was the table itself, not the legs, so they "couldn't do anything about it" until we left. That's literally what they said "we'll have to turn it over and fix it when you leave." Never cleaned up the spilled water, soaked napkins... never offered a table that didn't shake when trying to cut my food... never offered a sincere apology. Very disappointed.

Just make sure to ask your server if there's a delay in getting your food. Apparently there was a 30 minute delay in getting your food and the server didn't tell us before we ordered. Also we had to ask for silverware after we received our food.
