The Cubano sandwich is amongst the best on the country. Combine that with a great atmosphere and Chontel Johnson s service and smile and you will have a great meal.

Our favorite place to go for brunch, as well as lunch and dinner. All food is made to order with lots of flavor, sauces, and an excellent presentation.Unfortunately, the prices have gone up on some of our favorite dishes, so we don’t go as often as we previously did.My favorite was always the Caribbean halibut, which they’ve changed to a different dish I have yet to try. I loved the farro with the previous version.Chicken pesto is an excellent choice as well.

04_8_2024 My girlfriend and I ate here for the first time. I ordered the Blueberry Lemon Curd Pancake's, and my girlfriend ordered the Garbage Skillet and I also ordered a side of Bacon. The Pancakes and the Garbage Skillet were delicious ????????????. But the side of bacon was cold upon arrival at table. I figured it would be three pieces of bacon but it was two. Overall experience was nice. Clean restaurant staff was very friendly.

Amazing breakfast... Fresh, spicy egg tacos and one of the best pancakes we've had. Our server was beyond nice. Highly recommend!

I'll start off by saying this has never been my favorite restaurant. I go because my adult children like it. I have had one good meal in all my times going. I tried to order it again and it was so hot that I couldn't eat it. I am in search of something that I like. My kids did like their meals but for my oldest son, he ordered the shrimp and grits and he said they were much hotter than the previous time that he got them. They were almost too hot to enjoy. I would say consistency is lacking. I know it's a popular spot, but it's just not favorite.

I've been here a few times all with mixed results, mostly positive, though. The food is pretty good, drinks are consistently better. Service is always top-notch. Most recent was a brunch visit, and mimosas were excellent. The Chile Rellenos was absolutely amazing. The pepper filling was hot and fresh, with lots of cilantro and a fried egg to make it brunch style. Rice and toppings were perfect pairing. My GF had the eggs Benedict thing with pork. The pork was super dry and cold, the cornbread was tasty but dry, overall not good..Definitely be back again.

We had the French toast and the “garbage”. We also had a Bloody Mary. The food was delivered quickly and hot. The recommendation of the server was on point! Great Easter experience at a reasonable price! We will be back.

We went to Proximo for the first time for Easter brunch and it is now my favorite restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was amazing! Our server was Jared and we met the manager James. Everyone was attentive to our needs and wants. Definitely a place to go if you haven't tried it. We will definitely be back!

The chef curated a custom dish for me and it was absolutely amazing! Everything is thoughtful and inspired here. It's our favorite place in the city for a reason. I can't give them enough praise!

My spouse and I have had the pleasure of dining at Proximo on multiple occasions, and our experiences have consistently been enjoyable. The establishment stands out for its innovative approach to traditional cuisine, showcasing a remarkable flair for creative and unconventional culinary techniques. This inventive perspective on dining elevates the gastronomic journey, making each visit a delightful exploration of flavors. The quality of service at Proximo has been commendably consistent, with only minor deviations from excellence. Such consistency hints at a well-managed operation, where attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction are evidently prioritized. It's this level of execution that underscores the potential within Proximo to achieve and maintain a leading position within the Fort Wayne dining scene.Despite the high praise, it's evident that there are avenues for Proximo to enhance its offerings further. The opportunity to refine its culinary repertoire, service, and ambiance is clear. With focused improvements in these areas, I firmly believe that Proximo, much like its sister establishments under the same management group, could not only cement its status as one of the premier dining options in Fort Wayne but also aspire to reach the zenith of culinary excellence in the region. In conclusion, Proximo presents a compelling case for being among the best dining experiences in Fort Wayne, with a tangible pathway to elevating its status even further. For those in search of a dining experience that combines creativity, consistency, and potential for greatness, Proximo is a destination that merits your attention.

I'll start by saying this restaurant was not my pick. My adult kids do like it and we were celebrating my son's birthday. It was loud and very busy. Our server was good, but unfortunately the kitchen was very slow. We had to keep a toddler entertained while waiting for our food. My boys loved the shrimp and grits. My daughter in law was happy with her traditional breakfast. My daughter and I were a little disappointed in our meals. My margarita was good!

Food was outstanding. Very flavorful and high quality. Portion sizes where about right. Wait staff are very professional and knowledgeable and were able to accommodate our time frame. The prices are a little on the high side, but when you consider the quality of the experience, it is definitely a good value. I will definitely come back!
