The elderly woman who runs the restaurant demanded a larger tip for the elderly man who served the food. when The larger tip was denied she then charged my debit card a second time for a different amount. Every time I have eaten here they are ALWAYS OUT of something,they are never honest and upfront about being out of ingredients like bean sprouts for pho! or basil for pho the ingredients you look forward to when ordering pho! This should be told to you before ordering your food,that way you can make an informed decision about what you want to eat,if anything at all! The quality of the food is below average,the prices increased,the plates got smaller and the food ingredients were very questionable. Also stealing from the public to line your pockets is illegal and against the law. There were bugs flying around and the mop being used smelled like it was filthy, it smelled like rotting fish, Maybe it was the table we sat at that could have been wiped with a dirty rag.

Delicious and authentic Vietnamese food in Fort Wayne. Such a good hidden gem!! Got the Pho tai - the broth is so delicious and tastes homemade and hearty. Pork bbq, spring rolls and egg rolls were also amazing. Staff was also super friendly!!

I used to love coming here. It was always great. But the prices keep going up and quality becoming less. The waitstaff is pretty rude, so today I decided I'd grab takeout. I called twice within my 25 minute drive (clearly a craving), all to get there and them tell me they close at 645, not 7.. mind you I arrive at 647, they proceed to tell me they're closed and I cannot place an order. I stated I had been calling for the last 20 minutes and they laughed and said "sorry, we didnt hear anything."
Why have your open light on and hours posted for 7pm but close and not accept orders after 645?

Tried bbq pork buns this time. Tasted a bit like jerky texture but still good. Maybe the regular pork bun will be shredded pork? The ramen is always a must!

I love this restaurant. I used to go here a lot when I would visit my brother in Ft. Wayne. The last time I dined there was nearly 20 years ago. The menu is massive, so you're definitely going to be able to find something that you like. I had the traditional Pho with thinly sliced beef, and my brother had crab meat and shrimp in his dish. Both were delicious. They have updated the interior and have new (to me) signage out front. The last time I was there it was cash only, so it was great to see that they take cards now. The service was great, the portions were large, and the atmosphere was very chill. Glad to see that the Saigon Restaurant is still around and still delivering an amazing product. I'll definitely be back, the next time I'm in Ft. Wayne.

I talked to this lady for a minute and never thought that she was the owner. And y’all she is a down to earth person that I always love this restaurant from before,now and then❤️

Kid-friendliness: The waiter is helping me get into the restaurant and opening the door for me was all that matters for I was struggling with my stroller with my baby in it. Thank you ?
