Staff fighting and arguing, ordered chicken and shrimp teriyaki. The lady cooked it for 15 seconds and thru it on the plate. I said there is no way that’s cooked she told me she didn’t speak English and laughed. Horrible experience!!! Should be shut down !!

If you value your money and your time, do not order any extra protein at this location—whether it’s chicken or shrimp. You will be charged for it, but you won’t actually receive the additional portion. This has happened consistently, not just once.

My family and I have been coming to this Sarku Japan for years, and we genuinely enjoy the flavor of the food. The recipes are great, and the meals themselves are usually satisfying. Unfortunately, the service has continued to decline, and the portion sizes seem to get smaller each visit. It’s disappointing when a place you’ve supported for so long starts to feel unreliable, especially when you’re paying extra with the expectation of getting what you ordered.

I truly hope management addresses these issues, because the food is good—but the experience no longer matches the price.

I’ve been eating here for years and it’s always been good. I recently got some takeout for lunch and just figured I would finally do a review. Food is always hot and fresh. Staff is always cool and friendly. I always get the Teriyaki Chicken , double meats, with the fried rice and veggies. Never disappointed .

Had the chicken and shrimp with extra shrimp and veggies. All was exceptionally good for this type of restaurant. Grab the extra sauce they offer before you close up the box.

Teriyaki warmed up from previous night. Was very dry first thing in the morning so i doubt they made fresh. Once i questioned employee about it what seemed to be the manager chimed in to let me know it was “fresh made every order” when i could clearly see the batch of old chicken still sitting on the other end of their grill. Right.

I live 25 miles away from Ft Wayne and every time I can I pick up food from Sarku Japan. I love how fast service is and the friendliness of the employees!!! Thank you SO MUCH!!!

Located in Glenbrook Mall. I order the teriyaki chicken With double meat and double veggies and skip the rice for less carbs. They do have white rice, fried rice, and great noodles as a base, if you want. Cooked fresh on a grill in front of you. You can ask for extra sauce for no additional charge. I container makes 2 meals for me, sometimes 3.
