Sassie Cakes (kitchen only)

Every time I order from Sassie Cakes I get so excited. I don’t like giving specifics because I love watching them use their own expertise, but I always eagerly await the baked goods I’ve ordered……….and they always surpass whatever I’ve hoped for.

I also can’t believe how reasonable the pricing is for the quality, visuals, and the taste! I think they should charge more. My favorite thing is to gift them to friends and family when they are celebrating, and it’s so fun to see how excited people get when these beautiful creations arrive at the table. 10/10 recommend. ♥️♥️

My husband and I ordered cupcakes from here for our wedding! They were absolutely perfect. My only complaint was that they were so good we ended up not having any leftover!

We ordered some for another event as well, the gluten free ones were a huge hit! Even my pickier family members couldn't tell they were GF.
10/10 will order again

We’ve used Sassy Cakes for our daughters birthday parties since she’s been born and have no intention of changing that! Always great service and great about clarifying design preferences. I love sweets and tend to have pretty high standards, especially when purchasing for events and I’ve never been disappointed. I actually find myself craving their cupcakes randomly ? nothing else comes close! Also, the shop is super cute

I’m very disappointed in my order. I spent $118 on a 6” cake and 12 cupcakes that look like they came from Walmart. I ordered lemon buttercream cupcakes and received vanilla. The cupcakes looked nothing like the cupcakes posted online. The cake was not as pretty as the picture online either and icing was stuck to the inside of all corners of the box. I ordered from out of state to surprise a friend who is retiring tomorrow. I’m posting this review for anyone else who may be in a similar situation looking for guidance from afar.

Ordered specialty Taylor Swift cookies. The presentation was beautiful, even after traveling all the way to Virginia! The box included friendship bracelets and sparkle confetti. The cookies were amazing!!! I could tell a lot of love went into it. I would order for all events if I lived closer but grateful Sassie Cakes can ship some of their goodies for my family and I to enjoy! ❤️

I summited an inquiry on June 6th and didn’t here back from them till June 18th. After I had to follow up on my inquiry. The response back didn’t feel like a genuine apology nor did it feel like they read the details to the inquiry that was submitted. To the degree that the person in question confused me for a different family member versus the mother of the child.
I understand this is a small business but communication is key especially if the staff/owners are aware they will not be able to take orders due to vacation or other life events. Having a notice on the website with this information would have saved some time and stress. Especially since the the primary contact is email due to the customization required to my inquiry.
