After a horrible experience at Smokey bones me and my girlfriend came here to eat everyone was nice and professional the bbq beef brisket was the best as was the spoon cornbread and the coleslaw reminds me of my grandmas cooking it was great this is the best bbq as far as I can see

I tried the brisket sandwich with a side of macaroni and cheese and a single bacon wrapped jalapeno.
The brisket was sliced thin, but was tasty and not dry. I ended up adding the original bbq sauce because it had the best flavor. I would order it again.
The bacon wrapped jalapeno stole the show! I wish I had ordered more than 1! Although I usually only like them with a mix of cream cheese and cheddar- this one only had cream cheese- but also had pulled or chopped pork inside. It was so tasty!
The mac and cheese, on the other hand- was very bland and lacking in flavor. I do not recommend it- although it was cooked perfectly.
I will be back with the possibility of changing my review to 5☆ upon finding a tasty side dish.
Also, stole a photo of the nachos that the guy at the next table was eating. That was a huge portion and looked pretty tasty as well!
Update: I went back and ordered a HALF order of nachos. That is what is in the photo I took! I figured that was a whole order! They were very good. But even a half order is enough for either a couple of people or even a whole 's appetizer!
Changed my rating to 5* because of those great nachos.

Once upon a time, I went to Shigs for lunch. I had left a disappointing appointment with the caterers for my wedding and decided to get food that I thought would sit well with my stomach. Boy was I right. A local stable and crowd favorite, Shigs was a shinning star at my wedding. Putting together an all star menu of Hawaiian chicken on rice, pulled pork, potato casserole, green chili Mac, vegetarian, lasagna, farmhouse salad, and unlimited drinks. The price was fair and affordable for our lunch wedding which usually you don’t get both affordable and damn good taste…we did with Shigs. Christy Answered all my questions throughout my entire experience making sure my plethora of dietary restrictions from guest was answered. Every guest said the food was so inclusive to their needs and yummy. I adored working with Christy and Allison from Mads so much. You’re in good hands if you decide to use this catering service or if you want a nice lunch or dinner. My husband and I will be using them again!

Vegetarian options: We chose the veggie lasagna for our guest. Super yummy

Dietary restrictions: Labeled everything for us and put nuts on the side for allergies and upon request our guest could ask for lasagna. This made it cost effective for us because we didn’t have to buy an additional entree or use one of our main entrees as a vegetarian option instead we purchased a smaller pan.

I missed the ribfest this year. Then i remembered we have our own ribfest here in the form of Shigs n Pit. I live their food. Thai time I got ribs and burnt ends. Go ahead and try it. You’re gonna love eating here.

The staff was nice and quick, but the ribs and brisket were bad. There was no smoky flavor. The rib are like eating a leather shoes but there mac and cheese was good

I love BBQ and definitely have my favorite places. It is an order at a window type restaurant and then the food is brought out to you. This is a good place but not up to my high standards. I had the 10 chicken wings and my husband had the burnt ends as his one meat dinner. His included 2 sides and he chose the green beans and corn spoon bread. I didn’t ask for sauce on my wings but did get the rub. It was slightly spicy which was okay but overly salty. I had to stop eating before I was done because I couldn’t handle the salt load. My husband’s burnt ends were very fatty and the green beans were frozen not fresh. He tried the original sauce and liked it. All in all, an good place but if I had a better option for me (and I do) I wouldn’t go there.
