Met a friend for dinner. It had been a couple years since my last visit. We were quickly seated. Our server seemed overwhelmed although they weren't very busy, maybe new at the job. We had spicy margaritas and kimchi fries with tacos. Prices were good, Food was hot and delicious. While our server was struggling, other staff stepped up to help, making sure water was filled and chips replenished. Fun place to catch up with a friend. Would recommend.

I've been to Solbird five or six times since they opened and tried something new each visit; I have never been disappointed. Being a sucker for queso has prevented me from trying the salsa until this weekend and I'm here to say that it is the best salsa I have ever tasted in my life. Combined with their generously seasoned, housemaid tortilla chips that are somehow thick yet light and crisp and bursting with flavor, it's a real winner. The service is genuine and friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing and the only negative thing I will say is the tall tables chairs are not great. They are extremely heavy and hard to move in and out, and uncomfortable on your butt.

The staff is great. Super friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. I had 3 street tacos and the verde arroz. The rice was so good. It had great flavor and texture. The Korean beef taco was so good. Everyone in my party loved it. The Texican was another favorite. The other tacos were equally delicious. I don't always love authentic Mexican tacos but with all the extra fusion toppings and the way all the shells were prepared really made it the best.

Delicious food!!! The owner (Jerry) also took a current keg that was more or less empty off for us to put a sour on as we love sour beers. Exemplary service from our server Mya and canât stress enough how good the food is!! Highly recommended if you are in the Fort Wayne area!!!

I used to love Solbird, and donât get me wrong, the food is great. But lately, the customer service has been absolutely horrendous.
Firstly, theyâre closed the entire week of July 4th. Which I can understand, but google says they are still open. And instead of having the company phone turned off, they had someone manually declining calls. This made it feel like they were just ignoring our calls as it would ring a different amount of times, and then get sent to voicemail.
Then we called once from a different phone hoping to get an answer, and when they did they were incredibly condescending and rude. Saying, âDonât you ever take a holiday?â In a very rude tone. Personally, I donât know of any other business that closes for a week for the 4th of July.
Once again, I completely wouldâve understood if they didnât handle the situation terribly. If youâre on vacation, why take the work phone with you?
I feel like this situation couldâve been avoided completely if they would just have a voicemail that says theyâre closed.
