Storming Crab - Fort Wayne

The garlic bread was phenomenal. I had a crawfish, shrimp, and sausage broil with the crab cajun seasoning. Amazing. Good service and they had the college football games playing.

They no longer bring your boil in a bag, it's on a platter. Our waiter advised that change was made three weeks ago with no explanation as of why. The boil was covered in sea food boil oil. It seemed as if they dumped my flavor selection on top of it. The sausage wasn't andouille, but Eckrich breakfast sausage sliced extremely thin.

Thought I'd come here on a Thursday night to avoid the crowds. Instead ran into hoards to children. Five single mom's and their screaming children were seated around my table. One was kicking the back of my seat the whole time. Another child was playing videos/music I got to listen to. I was expecting a festive bar-seafood atmosphere. Instead I got Chuck-e-Cheese. The server didnt see a problem and couldnt care less. Food was good with an interesting cajun spice to the butter dipping sauce. I ordered 1/2 lb king crab legs. No way that was 1/2 lb. More like 1/4 lb. Server informed my that I could not get a piece of corn with my meal because I got the 1/2 instead of 1 lb meal. OMG! They can't spare a $.10 piece of corn!!!! Portions were skimpy generally. Overall, I wouldnt return here under any circumstances.

Ate lunch at this seafood restaurant during a trip through Fort Wayne. The restaurant was not crowded at all so there was plenty of parking andf we were seated right away during the visit. The menu is a bit cumbersome because they have items listed as lunch items which would indicate some sort of price or serving size difference but we were told the price and sizes were the same regardless of the meal.

We ordered onion rings as an appetizer and they were good. We ordered two different seafood boils, fried alligator, and fried shrimp for our entrees. The boils were good and seasoned appropriately. The fried gator and shrimp were good but could have used more seasoning. The staff we encountered were friendly and explained the menu selections. Overall, it was a good visit and if I was in the area I would eatr at this place again.

Food was absolutely delicious, super flavorful!! Definitely going here instead of red lobster from now on! Only thing is I wish the restaurant was bigger and heald more people LOL we had a bit of a wait but after we tried everything we wernt surprised that so manny people were there eating!
