I feel like I have to review this location, because small things really count. I stopped in this shop yesterday to get a BLT for my elderly mother. She has very specific request for how she likes her sandwich and I always try to comply. First, this is a joint Hardee's and Subway. The entrance serves both locations, to the left of the front door is Hardee's and slight right is Subway. The location appears clean and there is easy access to the parking lot from the Apple Glen commons. Immediately upon entry, I encountered a gentleman coming from the Hardee's area. He greeted me and washed his hands and gloved up. I appreciated seeing that. It shows a careful regard to safety and food regulation requirements. I informed him of the sandwich I wanted, I think this is where work still needs to be done My moms likes her BLT -1. Bread toasted first, bacon toasted next, bread bacon and cheese toasted together, then add lettuce tomato. The fact that I asked the gentleman to work in that order flustered him. He let out an audible sigh of frustration. I was perturbed, then I let out a small sigh and continued. I remembered, I'm spending my money, I have a right to ask for the sandwich to be made the way it is most desirable for me. To his credit, he didn't get rude or nasty, he just had to stop, sigh, and continue. This made me uncomfortable , but I got the sandwich the way she likes and left. That is the small thing that made the difference, I got it the way she likes. I don't think I'll be in a rush to return. Part of made fresh your way is the "your way" part. If they can't handle that, I'll reserve my spending for places that can.

The employee was very rude. Went to the bathroom came back and never washed his hands. Made 1 sub out of the 4 we ordered and then went to touching his phone and his pop. Then proceeded without changing gloves to touch my food when I asked him to change them he got an attitude.

I found a live rat in my sandwich, don't know how it got there but I took him out and he left a few droppings and it tasted pretty good. I took him home and kept him as a pet. Here's his picture.

Finally I had someone that made a sandwich how it should be made! ... a good sandwich has equal parts on the whole thing not one glob of sauce in one place or all the olives in the center ect. I will definitely be coming back to this location!
