It's been a while since I last had tacos from El Amish, so I decided to revisit. The restaurant is small and has a cozy, welcoming vibe, though it tends to get quite loud due to the limited space.
I ordered two steak tacos and two pastor tacos. Unfortunately, the flavor was lacking compared to my previous experiences. The quality seemed to have declined, and the tacos didn't have the same delicious taste they used to. On the positive side, they still offer generous portions of meat.
I also tried the horchata, but it was disappointing. It tasted like pre-made horchata mix rather than a homemade version. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. The food wasn't terrible, but it also didn't stand out as exceptional.

Would love to rate the restraunt but the rude server had me leave because one member of our group ordered to go since he didnt think he would be able to finish his food. Needless to say i wont be back.

When the food is good it’s very good, but the other day stopped in ordered pastor tacos and what they served was not pastor. Have been here 30+ times and get pastor every time. They argued that it was pastor but you could just look at it and see it was not marinated. The table across from us said you are not wrong I get pastor all the time as well and these are not. I asked the manager to take them off the ticket and was greeted with a “NO” they had no interest in making it right. Won’t do business with anyone or any company that won’t make things right when they screw up - $9 in tacos going to cost them 100s in lost sales from me.

So since they refused to remove the cost, we had to insist that they actually make tacos for us to take home since they were going to charge us for them and they had taken back the ones brought to me already. Absolutely horrid customer service. It’s baffling to me how people that work for a restaurant can not tell by look/smell that what they are giving their customers isn’t right. Other individuals in the restaurant made a comment to me that they agreed the pastor was not the same today as normally. I understand everyone makes mistakes but I was treated like I was stupid and couldn’t tell that what I was eating was pastor.
