Disappointing. Love this place and have brought so many people here for the first time who also love it, but their service has completely fallen off. Walked in tonight, one table and waitresses just standing around behind the register. Ones Iāve seen before. Sat for 5 or 6 minutes minutes and nothing. A family came out who they evidently knew and they were greeted. I left. If I go back, if the āyoungā crew is working, Iām leaving.

It's been a while since I last had tacos from El Amish, so I decided to revisit. The restaurant is small and has a cozy, welcoming vibe, though it tends to get quite loud due to the limited space.
I ordered two steak tacos and two pastor tacos. Unfortunately, the flavor was lacking compared to my previous experiences. The quality seemed to have declined, and the tacos didn't have the same delicious taste they used to. On the positive side, they still offer generous portions of meat.
I also tried the horchata, but it was disappointing. It tasted like pre-made horchata mix rather than a homemade version. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. The food wasn't terrible, but it also didn't stand out as exceptional.
