Hall's Tavern at Coventry

We were told about this place by our Comfort inn shuttle driver River. The wife enjoyed her pecan chicken, i had blue burger( River recommend). Food was good, staff was friendly. Restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Will go back when visiting Ft. Wayne. Thank you!

We had a party of 11 and we're able to get a reservation on a Friday night. They had a steak and shrimp special for 19. It was a 7 oz ribeye. Cooked to perfection and had great flavor. Then you got a skewer of shrimp. They had good flavor but had tails on. Then there were mashed potato fried balls. These were a little different. I would have preferred mash potatoes. Also got green beans. They were ok. A shout out to this place as they had a nice selection of gluten free entrees and will use separate pans and utensils to prevent cross contamination

I've given this place two tries to get it right or even close, more like meh... Having said that, there are better places to eat (in the same parking lot). This is a "heat n eat" establishment. They use a central distribution kitchen where the food is prepared and shipped out to all of their restaurants. This particular restaurant is a pale comparison to the gastro vibe happening in the area. Honestly, the only thing keeping this afloat are hotels in walking distance. If you're looking for a great experience, keep looking. The vibe is dismal and sad here.

All in all not bad. Steak and shrimp was good but don't like being dictated what side come with.
Crushed fish looked delicious.

We had the chicken with grilled vegetables and the pecan chicken. The food was fantastic and our server Brittany was terrific with keeping up with our party of 11 people.

Our waitress was excellent!! Drinks,excellent!! Food excellent!! Why the 3 star rating?? When we walked in the door, there were leaves and heavy debris everywhere in the entry at 11:30 in the morning. The inside was very dirty!! The menus were torn and tattered. The outside was dirty. The building has such unique and pretty features, but it is in great need of an overhaul. Even a deep cleaning would help tremendously!! I would love to go back for the food but will not return because of the filth. My wife and I had two delicious cocktails each, the spinach artichoke appetizers, and we split the Tincap burger with onion rings. All incredibly delicious!!

I only got takeout from here, but the atmosphere was very nice. I sat in a huge, comfortable leather chair as I waited for my food, I didn't order ahead. My bleu burger was outstanding. The staff was very friendly. I understand why Don Hall's is a Fort Wayne institution.
