I do not understand why it seems like not many people like to dine in there. It’s almost always so deserted in there which makes me really perplexed because the food is DELICIOUS. This is why you don’t judge the book by its cover.

The food was delicious and service was great I gave 4 stars because they were out of items for the sushi but they did give a discount on the bill overall I would recommend Thai Metta

Incredible Thai restaurant with very friendly staff. I have never been disappointed with a dish here. Highly recommend going in for a visit as they often have specialty menu items that are listed in house.

Place was empty at noon. My "street" food with chicken was excellent, but my friend got food poisoning from shrimp Pad Thai. Tom Kha soup was adequate; beverages were watery -- and I mean green tea and iced Thai tea.

I went there last Saturday ! Food was delicious I got the panag curry with tofu and my husband stir fry basil dish with tofu. I ordered my dish without deep fry tofu, just plain as other Thai restaurants offered that way and I like it since tofu absorbes all the flavors of the curry It is healthier that way too. The menu offer brown rice which can be confusing since I thought it was whole grain brown rice . It is fried rice with a brown sauce . I actually decided to visit the restaurant because I thought they offer whole grain brown rice . When restaurants offer brown rice it is the whole grain kind. I recommend the owner to change the wording of the menu to fried rice Anyways it was a busy Saturday at the restaurant and food took longer than expected . However the food make it for the wait .

Had the tom yum soup and ginger stir fry and glass of water. $31 with tip. Kinda pricey. But then everything is more these days. Bowl of tom yum was medium sized. Could've made a light meal of that but I was really hungry. Portion size of ginger stir fry dish was ok, not too large or too small compared with other Thai places in fort wayne. I've been to most thai restaurants in fort wayne and dozens elsewhere and I've been to Thailand. I love thai food. This place's tom yum was pretty good but not the best Ive had. I can take very spicy food. I ordered both dishes "very spicy" and the soup was moderately spicy for me. Your results may vary. The ginger dish wasn't spicy at all which was disappointing. In fact, the sauce was a more thick and sweeter than I like and compared with most other ginger stir fry I've had. Otherwise, the ingredients in both dishes seemed fresh and the seasoning was decent. Curiously, there was only 1 other customer‐couple there the entire 30 min I was there between 12:30-1:00 on a Friday afternoon. Kinda makes you wonder why. In fact I almost left before ordering because of that. Place was clean and service was ok and prompt.

Entering the space was such an immersive experience, I felt welcomed and the interior was beautiful! The walls were lined with such beautiful exotic decoration it felt very authentic! The waiters were very patient with me and they took note of my allergies! Also, the waiters had great recommendations! My food was out quickly and it tasted perfect I would recommend this place to those willing to try authentic Thai food!

First time at Thai Metta and my last. What I ordered was not what what I received. This was a carry out order, so I could not go back. I ordered Massaman and asked for no green pepper. It was supposed to come with green pepper, onion, potato, sweet potato and peanuts. My dish had broccoli, zucchini, baby corn, water chestnuts, and mushrooms. I gave the food a 2 star due to it actually tasting good. I just wish I had received what I ordered. One last thing.... the portion size did not compare to the price I paid.In response to your reply. I have the correct restaurant. Sure that's what is supposed to be in the Massaman, but that's not what I received. Look at your reviews... I'm not the only one.

We waited for our food for 2 hrs and there wasn’t even that much customer in the restaurant. We’ve also been waiting with just our appetizers being brought out. We came in at 6:30 and wasn’t served until closing time. The food was really sweet too. We ordered medium and hot for most of our main entrees. I usually can wait an hour for my food but it was ridiculous with the wait time and we were serve a dish at a time an hr apart.

Best Thai in town. Chicken Satay with peanut sauce was amazing. Chicken & peanut butter in your mind seems wrong. It's amazing.
