Went there for the first time for my Dad's birthday. The food was delicious, the atmosphere is small and cozy...such a great departure from a huge franchise resturant. Everything is made to order, the portions are excellent, and we even got lucky to hear Al sing! He eventually invited us up to sing and it really made for a memorable night eith the family. You wouldn't know by looking at it, but its a hidden gem for sure.

Unlike any restaurant you’ll find in Fort Wayne, this hidden gem perfectly executes its limited space, feeling cozy, authentic, and wholesome. Pasta made from scratch, and a great wine selection without drowning you in excessive options

Seems bigger on the inside than the outside. I cannot believe I have been avoiding this place. I look forward to returning and exploring the menu.

We went to this charming and timeless place after a day celebrating my great nieces 5th birthday. They had one of the best marinara sauces I've ever had, fresh made pasta and meatballs that were equally as tasty. I'll be visiting again with family. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable moment in time with my family. 💕

Having been born and raised in NYC, I’ve been very spoiled by the many choices of restaurants who offer Southern Italian and Northern Italian cuisines. However, I’m trying to figure out what kind of Italian cuisine The Italian Connection offers? Oh, yes! “BAD” Italian cuisine. The only saving grace this place has are, the wine selections and desserts.

You can’t eat ambience folks.

Food is mediocre. Some of it seemed like it had been pulled from the freezer. Then to have to listen to the guy give a personal karaoke session was the icing on the cake, good grief.

Food was horrible. The chicken parm was a soggy breaded chicken breast soaked in lemon butter. Fettuccine was like egg noodles broken up in what was supposed to be Alfredo. Alfredo sauce was like half and half right out of the carton with a gritty taste of parm cheese. Salad was a 1/4 c. Of romaine lettuce w/2 croutons right out of the bag and a splash of olive oil. Meatballs were ground beef with a little Italian Seasoning, nothing else. Rubbery and tasted boiled. Cold marinara sauce on side. Girlfriend got Lasagna swimming in about 2c of sauce and Luke warm. One waitress said oh I noticed that's not hot, I can nuke it for you though. How appetizing. We are used to real Italian food bursting with flavor. The food was bland and the sauce is bitter. On a positive note, the pasta texture was great. Our bill was $59.40. It is a shame that such garbage is being served and a shame that people have to waste there hard earned money on it. Most of all, fresh pasta deserves better!
