October 24, 2024 update:
Still my #1 goto restaurant in NorthEast Fort Wayne. My wife had a smoked Salmon sandwich with avacado... OMG!
I had my usual blackened Catfish with jalapeno tarter sauce. To die for! Well, maybe the Salmon was a bit better, but can't argue (I'll get slapped).
This restaurant is a good place to go for good food. Not the best atmosphere, but the food is great and service is very good. It is our first pick for an evening meal.
Thanks, everyone! Just left after a great meal. Service was exceptional. Thank you to the guys and gals at the bar where we ate.
The food was awsome!

Outstanding! Cozy atmosphere even when crowded. Comfortable, friendly, neighborly. Servers very casual, friendly, attentive and never hovering. Food? Perfect. Craft beers, full bar - you cannot beat this place.

Hands down my favorite resturant in town absolutely love the food most of the servers are amazing the bartender is amazing but there is one guy server who is just plain rude barely spoke to us at all barely got what we needed we had to ask other servers for basic things like salt it was insane he wouldn't even tell us your welcome when we thanked him I am a server and love serving it's all about customer service and I guess he just don't have it. Other then just him the place is absolutely amazing

The first time we tried to place an order for carry-out, we called around 4:45, and it took 3 attempts before someone would answer the phone and NOT hang up on us when we said we would like to place an order for carry-out. When we finally got someone who didn't hang up on me, he said they stopped taking carry out orders at 5PM. I said, "Oh good, we made it just in time" (it was about 4:47pm at this point). The man on the phone said, "Well, we're not taking any carry out orders now, either" and hung up on me. I have dined in the restaurant previously and had fairly decent service and enjoyed great food, so I blew it off as a one-time negative experience.
We have since tried to place carry out orders on two other occasions, each time attempting to call around 4:15-4:30. Someone will answer the phone, and then when I say that I would like to place a carry-out order, they hang up.
If you actually don't want to accept carry out orders, or you would like to stop taking them at 4 or 4:30, then perhaps you should make that your policy. If you choose to continue to offer carry out as a dining option, I would strongly encourage your employees answering the phone to stop hanging up on customers when they say they would like to place an order for carry out. There is no need to be so incredibly rude.

Wide variety of items on the menu and all affordable, but the jambalaya was just ok. Nice selection of beers on tap and staff were nice.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Lucky Turtle Grill, and it was an exceptional experience! The food was truly amazing, with the lobster sauce, salmon, and shrimp being some of the best I've ever had. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The prices were very reasonable, offering great value for the quality and portion size. To top it all off, the staff were friendly and welcoming, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend the Lucky Turtle Grill to anyone looking for delicious seafood and a great atmosphere!

Nice themed seafood restaurant in a shopping plaza. Great aesthetics. We sat in a back booth. Low light, quiet and excellent service. I had the shrimp and grits. Not what I expected in a classic shrimp and grits. Surprisingly good. Basically jambalaya over a grit cake. Lots of menu options and also has a full service bar up front. Would definitely recommend.

We had my daughter’s rehearsal dinner in the Tiki Room. When we went in to decorate, the floor had food and trash everywhere from a party the night before. The chairs and booths had food and sticky stuff everywhere. When we came back at night for dinner, they didn’t restock the buffet as it ran out, and didn’t bring out enough desserts. It was also not air conditioned and VERY hot! Very disappointing experience.

It's a fun place. Excellent service. The food is average, nothing exciting, but the bread pudding is scrumptious!

We had lunch here on the weekend. The food was fairly good but we just couldn't get past the service and the dirtiness of the dining room. The walls and decor are coated with grease, grime, and dust. At one point, a cobweb fell from the ceiling, it's that gross. My husband said that the men's room left a lot to be desired and seemed to have plumbing issues. Also, our server kept walking away while we were mid sentence with her and never offered to refill our drinks, even when the food wait was 20+ minutes. Not horrible but not great.
Overall, I get why people like this place. It has a fun eclectic vibe and kind of a Margaritaville-esque crowd. If you just want a late night dive bar, you'll probably be happy here. We'd give more stars if it was clean with friendly staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first time eating here. The large menu can seem a little daunting, but server #8 ??♀️ was fantastic with great knowledge of the menu and a fun rapport. Portions are large. We had the pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries and the Rueben with fries. The sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly with a little crispy finish to avoid that mushy texture. We will definitely return to explore more of the menu.
