This place was just EH.. ordered breakfast, hash browns were like fried mash potatoes, no cinnamon on the french toast like come on.. Only enjoyed my eggs and bacon everything else lacked ingredients or flavor , sadly disappointed in the joint. We want our BIG BOY back lol

Not sure how to rate this. The waitress did not know the specials. I ordered the hot beef Manhattan. It took about an hour to get our food. When the beef Manhattan came out it had shredded hash browns on it. Never had hash browns with my beef Manhattan. I did not want to say anything because I did not want to wait another hour. The guy at the register kept telling us he was sorry and said that it would get better the more we come back, it got better once we left! The restroom was lacking hand towels.

I felt sorry for a waitress when we were there because she was really good but something was going wrong in the kitchen and nothing came out right and it took forever to get served our food. The food was at best out of a can. The hamberger was not good. The bathroom was discusting would not tell some one i didnt like to eat their. This is the second and last time we went their. Both times was Disgusting at best.

We love the menu, the food, and the staff. They treat us like family-hugs too! Moderately priced menu items that are delicious. Good service but sometimes the kitchen gets overwhelmed! Excellent Margaritas by Terry or Nick. Eric is also a good fellow. Real name Luckt Turtle/Moose Lounge. Will always come here for enjoyment.

Ordered country fried steak with mashed pots and gr beans. Sent back plate because meat tasted raw and puddle of oil/grease under meat. No flavor in the meat or country gravy. The kitchen made a new dinner for me which was same as first. Mashed pots had several very large pieces of unmashed potatoes. Partner's cheeseburger had stale bun and never received the coffee ordered. Will not go back.

The service is great especially waitress name Shelia, she is awesome!!! Unfortunitely the food has changed since it changed hands, not for the better either. It's a shame that the waitresses have to live solely on their tips they haven't been paid June or July If yo go in please tip your waiter or waitress that is their only income from there.

Where else can a person go to get a delicious salmon salad club but the Moose? Occasionally I'll order their excellent flatbread pizza, but the salmon salad is what keeps me coming back.

This is a great place with tons of food choices and everything we have tried is so good! Pulled pork tacos, flat iron steak, tons of wraps, the crab cakes are to die for! We just keep going back!
This diner gave me a Denny's feel at first but after we finished eating I learned that the food was better then a Denny's, the prices were close but still lower then Denny's and lastly and this may be just that we had Sheila (who did a great job) waiting our table but the service was better then your average Denny's.We are a family of vegetarians and had no trouble finding good vegetarian options on the menu. I was disappointed that they only have sausage gravy with their biscuits and gravy and not a vegetarian gravy (if they would just not add in the sausage when making the gravy I would have happily ordered them.I went with an omelot that came with a side of fresh fruit (or hashbrows) the fruit was actually fresh and not canned which was a good thing to see. That side included watermelon. Pineapple, honey dew and orange. The omelet came with a second side of my choosing from multiple options, I went with the French toast.The entire breakfast was delicious and since we are nearby we will definitely make coming here a regular occurrence. As a bonus the diner has a drive through and you can call in your order and go through the driveway to get it.
Vegetarian options: Alot of options and you can ask to have meat removed from almost any item on the menu.

not usually the type to leave a negative review but i tried to order takeout and the employee who answered the phone was so confused and had no idea how to take the order. kept leaving the phone multiple times without saying anything had to call back twice just to place an order and on top of that i repeated my order over 5 times and she still kept repeating it back incorrectly. need better staff or ask manager to help if the employee doesn’t know what they’re doing…. gave me the order in a kroger grocery bag…

Last time eating here.. Think after first meal said this. Tried not judging. But I might as well went to McDonald's got meal. At least getting combo get whole meal for same price spent there. $7.99 French toast only. First walked in had old nursing home smell to it. Hostess was more worried about filling out her schedule than setting me. Two tables in my area was complaining that their food shouldn't take forty minutes to be served. They wasn't that busy. Hate they closed Halls down. Blue bird was to packed for me. This place good for retirement community

Food was great. Seems like they are still getting everything going. Odd to see a pie/bakery cabinet filled with Walmart pies. Be nice if they made their own or bought from local. Still enjoyed!

My husband and I visited Fort Wayne for a wedding and wanted to scope out a local breakfast spot and we stumbled across Top Notch Diner. All-in-all, we were greatly underwhelmed. The menu looked great but the food itself was mediocre. The crepes were mushy and the strawberries tasted as if they were from a can (which they likely were). The bacon was good but my egg was kinda undercooked. My husband's burrito was bland and it lacked flavor. He ordered a side of biscuits and gravy that he liked. The hot chocolate was Swissmiss from a packet which I don't mind but it's near $3 for a cup and no free refills. ??♀️ The waitress was friendly but overwhelmed and the restaurant wasn't that busy.Overall, neither of us were impressed by the food or service.
