I have worked in the restaurant industry for many years and can say this was the BEST service I have ever had. If you are thinking about coming to Umi, ask for Heather S! Let me say that I've never had sushi before, but everything I sampled at Umi I really, really enjoyed. We had our company Christmas party at Umi and they served many different kinds of sushi for appetizers. I also had salmon for an entree and thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

We went for a dinner provided by a company. I'm gluten free so I couldn't eat any of the appetizers or dessert. As far as dinner the only thing offered was the fried rice. It was disappointing not to be able to eat most of the food in front of me and they didn't seem to want to accommodate me either or offer many alternatives so if you have Celiac's this is not a restaurant for you.

Went here after our massages and we crushed. Our server was awesome and very helpful. My first time being there and it will not be my last. The red dragon roll, spicy chill, and the scallops/crab/shrimp over a bed of a sushi roll - the verve! It was sooo good! We loved the spice! Also, the edamame was really tasty and a great start to the meal!

We were very impressed. I was there for a private event during irregular business hours. The good was very good. Very good assortment. The bat service was excellent quality. We had an assortment of food, but no sushi. I will plan to go back soon.Parking: There is plenty of parking, but a lot of the parking is behind the building between the strip mall.

For my first experience at Umi, the service was excellent. Mattie was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The ambiance was average as the background music wasn't pleasant at 12:30 PM. The decor was definitely upscale and modern looking. The food was a disappointment. They were out of Tempura mix and virtually everything involved a tempura breading. My chicken bowl was dry. I brought most of it home to add some moisture and flavor. I was with a friend who had been there several times, and she was quite dismayed.

I will start off with what I liked: the atmosphere of the restaurant and the service. The waitress and hostess were polite and prompt.The food was disappointing. I cannot justify any of the prices for what you get. The roll I had was $22 and was filled with asparagus and topped with soft shelled crab. All of the specialty rolls were mostly cooked seafood and vegetables. The sashimi combo price was outrageous. Even their basic rolls were $2-3 more than everywhere else. If you're wanting to impress someone with a fat wallet, this is the place; however, if you are a sushi fanatic then I would steer clear.

My husband & I had brunch last Sunday. It was delicious! I had a side of fresh fruit, the meat lover’s omelette and potatoes. The potatoes were sliced thin. Cooked perfectly. I had the biscuit as my grain choice. You can tell they are made fresh. We will be back soon!

Lunch date with my best friend. Both of our first time dining there, staff was very accommodating. The food is delicious from the saki, tuna appetizer, small salad and the sushi. The BB rolls were our favorite. Mattie our waitress was a delight as was Elaine, one of the owners. She was gracious enough to send a dessert home with us both. We were throughly impressed with everything.
