Anyone who knows me knows that if Im going out to eat its going to be sushi and its going to Haru Sushi BUT the team at Haru did it again! If you haven't tried uniqbbq since they took over, do yourself a favor and get over there ASAP. My twin and I ate like kings and nearly had to be rolled out ?. Located at Stellhorn and Maplecrest.

Tony was his usual engaging friendly self, and his staff was again first rate, on time and with a smile. Classy all you can eat….killer beef pork shrimp and all you can eat appetizers as well! 5 stars all day long. We can eat anywhere. We choose UNIQ because it’s all that!

I recently visited UNIQ BBQ & SHABU under its new management, and I was impressed with the changes. The atmosphere remains welcoming, but there's a noticeable improvement in service and food quality. The BBQ and shabu-shabu options are still fantastic, with fresh ingredients and a great variety of flavors.
The staff, now more attentive and efficient, made our dining experience enjoyable. The selection of vegetables and dipping sauces was excellent, and the dishes were prepared with care , but it was clear that the staff was working hard to ensure quality.
Overall, the new management seems to be a positive change for UNIQ BBQ & SHABU. It’s definitely worth a visit for anyone who enjoys delicious BBQ and shabu

UNIQ BBQ was so delicious! It was our first time having Korean BBQ but not Korean favorites. The food was delicious, the service was top notch, and we had a great experience. My husband didn’t know we cooked the meat ourselves until we were in the car on the way and he was NOT excited. At the end of the meal he told me he enjoyed it and would definitely do it again.
My husband loved the miso soup and strawberry ice cream. Weird favorites but considering he’s a very picky eater, I’ll take it. The Spicy Honey Pork was my favorite. I had the Sichuan soup base for the Shabu and loved it. Added ramen, broccoli, bok choy and onion to it. We also had spring rolls, edamame, shrimp tempura, fried sausage and gyoza appetizers. For the meat we tried garlic shrimp, spicy pork belly, spare ribs in addition to the spicy honey pork.
Our server Alex was super helpful with recommendations and everyone checked on us between Alex visits as well. The management is from Haru Sushi which is one of our go tos in Fort Wayne so it was wonderful to see them here as well. They are so friendly and welcoming at both locations.
