One of my favorite places to get a genuinely good coffee in Fort Wayne! It’s an adorable place with bright yellow accents and plenty of seating. The staff and owner, Tony are always delightful. I love how they are focused on quality and serving only the best. Hard to beat a warm coffee and sweet liège waffle!

I have always loved United Coffee for the coffee and the waffles are absolutely amazing. However, I stopped one day to be greeted by the owner at the drive-thru. It was the worst experience I have ever had at United Coffee. He was extremely rude!
I ordered a waffle and a coffee and he stated the waffles were no longer going to be offered because they are not a waffle house... they are a coffee shop. (As I am looking at the waffle menu on the window) He then said having to buy the fruit all the time is a pain and hiring summer help is a problem in itself. Let me tell you, the summer help at the drive thru was nothing but pleasant and friendly. Unlike this experience.
He then told me there is a point in your life where you just don't need the money anymore. Wait, What?!? You don't need my money anymore??? Ok..... I won't be back.

It's a hip urban hangout that specializes in coffee, tea and waffles. They only sell one size so you'll pay almost $6 for a small specialty coffee. I'm all for supporting local businesses but not at the expense of overpriced bougie items.
