Wu's Fine Chinese Cuisine

I have been around long enough to remember when Wu's actually did mean fine dining. The last several visits however have grown increasingly... less fine. I won't go into details because I don't want to be unkind, but I will say this: After last night's total debacle on every level, there won't be another visit. Done with Wu's.

Ok wow. This is the best Chinese food I've found in the area...and possibly the best salt & pepper fish I've ever had.

The people are lovely. The host had us seated & with drinks in just a few minutes. The waitress was sweet, and knew the dishes well enough to give us her opinion when we had questions (it's always a good sign when the staff eats at the place they work!)

We had the pan fried pot stickers, combo lo mein, salt & pepper fish, General Tao chicken, and steamed rice. Everything was hot, rich, and flavourful. The servings were easily food for two+ each so we have a lot of leftovers! The chili sauce seems to be made in house and SO good, and the soy sauce wasn't overly salty.

Food for 4-6 meals came out to $95 before tip. Definitely worth it!

It's also a completely MSG free menu which is great for our friend who is allergic, and the mai tai was strong ?

Food was ok, but I left a low score because the waitress came out to the car and stopped us and asked if we are going to give her a tip or not! We just paid over 100 for our meal and we're talking and forgot to leave one! There were 6 of us and she wasn't that good anyway. We gave her one, but I have NEVER had a waitress chase us down! Super rude.

Wu's is an elegant, relaxed dining space. Stepping inside reminded me of visiting the restaurant of a local Cantonese family: ambient lighting, white table cloths, beautiful decor and delicious, authentic dishes.
We thoroughly enjoyed having dinner here. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and attentive, and really made the whole evening memorable.

I’ve been to numerous Chinese restaurants and anytime I’ve ever gotten egg drop soup you always get the little crunchy noodles with it. Well you won’t hear unless you buy them. My beef chop suey had basically no taste to it. Not worth the money to me lesson learned

Disappointed this was take out only. Food disappointing. Egg rolls half full. Won ton soup was terrible. It was like a water broth no flavor at all. No Bok Choy or veggies in broth. Hardly any meat in wonton
