I ordered sloppy Joe through DoorDash and it was incorrect. Adam, the manager gave me platinum service Their restaurant is 30 minutes from my job and instead of me having to deal with DoorDash, he made my food correctly and delivered it in a Uber. I genuinely have never had service this great

I was visiting my son in Greenfield and we started musing about food that we missed. I mentioned “broasted chicken”. He searched on his phone it comes up with the Broadway Diner in Fortville. It’s only 7 miles away. He never heard of it and he’s lived here for 15 years. I said I’ll head up there and get some takeout. I found the place…it doesn’t exist on the GPS because a street was closed but I figured out it should be in Broadway Plaza. I walked into the diner…I’m a veteran and 79 years old…it reminded me of an American Legion post in the late 60s…in a good way. It was a diner…a hole in the wall local diner..I said to myself “I like this place”. A nice waitress asked me what I’d like. I told her broasted chicken dinner to go with broasted potatoes as the side. Got it she said. It took the time to broast a 12 piece dinner about 20-25 minutes…the order came out hot! When I got back home…the food did not disappoint. The chicken was hot, juicy and delicious. Worth the drive and the wait. I also snagged piece of strawberry rhubarb pie for dessert. It was a good choice. The Broadway Diner in Fortville,IN…a pretty good secret among the locals.

Literally the WORST service I have ever experienced. My husband and I got there at 9 and left at 9:55- when we left I overheard the waitress tell the kitchen to not bother making food since we were leaving. THEY HADN’T EVEN STARTED MAKING IT? People got served before us and even then it might’ve been 3 people in that entire hour.
I fully blame the kitchen that is absurd- standing and talking and getting orders wrong? Don’t bother stopping in

I thought I was ordering from a new restaurant but it turns out it was a ghost kitchen. Broadway diner currently has 15, yes 15 ghost kitchens they have up on over eats. And it was still the subpar quality and tasting food that I would expect from the diner. I was disappointed. I should have known from all of the AI photos. Shame on you!
The food was real good. It would have been a 5 star review if they had a kiosk to order from so you dont have to inconvenience the waitress.

Food is decent, but the prices do not go along with the food. Good ol diner burger is the same price of a burger restaurant but lacks the flavor of it. It is a great dinner option as they are quick and the food is decent. I just think it is overpriced for what you get.
Service is great. The ladies working there will take care of you.

Baked potato was old and cold, steak was a bit tough and didn’t have much flavor, green beans and toasted bread were delicious! I do like this diner just don’t get a steak and baked potato!

I really like breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches, and when we came here, I figured it would just be your typical sandwich..... but when I bit into it..... it was FIRE! It was BUSSIN! I literally smashed that sandwich. Lol! I take my kids to church camp in Fortville every year and Definitely coming back here for lunch. My son says the pancake was 5 out of 5. Win! Price was awesome too! Service was great!

I'm one that loves mom and pop dinning. This place may lack the fancy sort of atmosphere but it is down-right good home cooking. They have tje best cole slaw ever!
