Sun dog is a great little small town coffee shop. I actually stumbled across them by accident when they came to our town farmer's market. I bought a bottle of their cold brew and it was delicious, so I had to check them out! They've got great coffee, many different flavors and styles to choose from. Their food is great, and they're always coming up with new sweets. I haven't had anything I haven't liked yet! It's a cozy little shop in downtown Fowler, if you like coffee I highly recommend you give them a try!

After a 1500 mile trip from out east, this was the best place we’ve stopped on the whole trip. It was such a nice surprise because it was in a small rural town in Central Indiana.
The food was excellent. The staff was great & very helpful. Even the music they were playing was enjoyable. We will definitely be back.
We enjoyed the biscuits and gravy so much that we bought a quart of gravy to take home with us.
Highly recommended!

Fed our crew of painters while in the area twice. Wow your food is amazing. I’m a huge fan of chicken wraps and yours is by far the best I’ve had. Congrats on doing it right.

Glad to have found Sundog. This place is much better than the local gas station and sub place.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Also I was impressed with the variety and selection of food items.

My chicken and pesto panini was good tasting.

For the $9.00 it cost for the sandwich, perhaps they could throw on some Chips or something.

Drinks...let's improve this by offering less special/pricey items. Or rather, offer a few more less costly items.

Soda is by bottle no fountain drinks...expensive. Went with the H2O. The tea is $5 plus for 32 oz they said.

There is a good dessert selection. Unfortunately they did not have any of what I asked for.

I'll be back. Again way better than the gas station and sub place.

Pressed sandwiches are filling. Enjoyed this place twice. Tried the Cuban and the Chipotle Chicken.
Canned/bottled drinks and assorted bagged chips. Super friendly.

This place is not next door to me which I wish it was. My coffee was delicious and so was my breakfast quesadilla. Hope to visit again.

I am elated to know that the Fowler community has such an excellent café to call their own. I have been here dozens of times and I have yet to be disappointed.

A delightful spot on the main street for coffee, breakfast or lunch. I stopped by on my way through the area and was really charmed by the experience. My homemade sandwich and lemonade were wonderful. Definitely coming here on my way back home.

This place is AMAZING. My wife is originally from Crown Point, and I from Merrillville. We have lived in Florida, Arizona, and California 3 times. This place could compete with the coffee shops anywhere. This place reminds me of coffee shops in San Diego, or San Francisco. My wife took the day off today just so we could drive down there hr & half. We split the Scott burrito, and biscuits and sausage Gravy. And we both got grasshopper Latta (peppermint mocha) I had the 20oz my wife had the 16oz. $26.00 . This would easily be $40.00 pluss at the blackbird in Valpo. The service is great. It was fast and polite, but not fake. They cut the burrito put it on separate plates a long with the biscuits and gravy. Love this place we'll definitely do another trip. BTW accidently stumbled across this place a yr ago whe looking at some properties down there.

There were no raccoons that attacked me from the rafters above. That was a big positive. It was a big win. Most small towns I visit usually have kangaroos that wanna box me, or raccoons that want to rob me of my Circuit City coupons. I was gonna go see The Land Before Time 15 across the street, but the aroma of the chicken bacon ranch wrap pulled me in. Also, all the ladies behind the counter are so cool. I bet they could all do awesome cartwheels or give the best high-fives. They are disciplined to their craft. I would recommend SunDog Cafe to anybody that visits the big metropolis of Fowler, Indiana.Wu-tang! ?
