We arrived on a beautiful Friday afternoon. My daughter went with me and we found a table outside in the shade for the four of us.
Here is what we ordered:
🐖 Hand Breaded Tenderloin with Chips 🐖 Hand Breaded Tenderloin with Onion Rings 🌯 Breakfast Wrap with Hash Browns 🐻 Grizzly Grand Breakfast
The tenderloins were thick slabs of pork with tasty breading. Classically dressed, they were excellent examples of the Hoosier favorite.
The onion rings were fantastic! So good, in fact, that my mom ordered a plate to share with the table after she tried one off my dad’s plate. Everyone was happy! 🧅
For my Grizzly breakfast I selected the breaded tenderloin, seasoned potatoes, and a biscuit. I topped half the tenderloin, potatoes, and eggs with gravy. I put the other half of the tenderloin on the buttered biscuit. Heaven! It wasn’t exactly cardiologist-friendly but I didn’t care. 🩺
The gravy was peppered, the hash browns were crunchy. I thought the biscuit looked sad at first glance but it proved to be moist and delicious. So good!
Ann’s has its own parking lot, but there is also plenty of street parking nearby. 🚗🚙🚕

Ann's Restaurant in Franklin, Indiana, was buzzing when I rolled in. Place was packed, and I snagged the last table just as the lunch rush really hit. Gotta give 'em credit, even with the crowd, my server was quick. Ordered the beef and noodles special, figuring it'd be a classic comfort dish. Sides of mashed potatoes and green beans rounded it out. Now, it looked the part, just like my own beef tips and noodles I make at home. But, man, was it bland. Everything, and I mean everything, needed a serious dose of salt. Noodles, beef, potatoes, gravy – all flat. Only the green beans had any flavor, and they were decent. I know they cater to an older crowd, but a little seasoning wouldn't hurt. Service was alright, no complaints there. Food came out quick, about ten minutes, which is impressive for how busy they were. Place was clean, nothing to complain about there. Ambiance? Pure casual diner, nothing fancy. Overall, it was a 3-star experience. I'd probably give Ann's another shot, but I'd definitely try something else on the menu.

My friends and I were looking for a special lunch in the midst of shopping about the square in Franklin, Indiana. We found Ann's restaurant to be highly busy, but we only had to wait 10 minutes for them to clear a table for us and someone behind us. The food came quickly and was delicious! The prices are reasonable. Their tenderloin is worth the rave reviews! We will come here again.

Incredible pork tenderloin sandwich! Great breading, lightly seasoned, and very juicy. I would recommend it! Wife had a quality grilled cheese sandwich, but the tenderloin was great!
Ann’s Restaurant is a great spot in Franklin with nice outdoor seating. My wife and I stop in for breakfast. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was very good. Highly recommend for a relaxed dining experience.
