This place is awesome! Great vibes, great food, great drinks. I'm normally plain as can be (burger, only mustard.) Mikey recommended the Hard Truth Whiskey burger and it was life changing. Burger was delicious, service was excellent. Can't wait to return! Sorry, didn't take pics as I devoured it and and drank all the beer!

Amazing food! The waitress was very nice and promptly refilled my drink often. I may end up diabetic, but now I can tell my doctor Big Woods has really amazing service! The cook did an amazing job with the soup, I think, that's what I heard from the other tables because they were out of it by the time I ordered, it gives me a reason to come back though, because the food was absolutely amazing, my compliments to the chef!

Met a friend here (who I haven’t seen in 2 yrs) for dinner on 11/25/2024. Came in at 5:30. There were only 4-6 other people in the restaurant. Ordered a burger medium well. It came out rare. We never saw our server for quite a while. By the time she came back, I had eaten most of my fries. She said they would give me a discount, but never offered a remake of the burger. I insisted on a full comp on the meal (which they did but that should’ve been a given). Server said the cook was normally one of the bartenders. They obviously can’t cook a burger properly. The beers were great but the awful burger spoiled the dining experience for me. Was given (2) $5 coupons but not sure I’ll be back anytime soon. I always enjoyed this place in the past but I’m often reluctant to go back after a very poor experience.

We came here with another couple on Friday night for dinner. I ordered a burger and there was nothing special about it. My husband had a pizza and he specifically ordered a thin crust. What he got was not a typical thin crust. It was too doughy. The best part of the meal was the beer.

Ordered a pork carnitas bowl. Kind of expected something at least chipotle quality for almost $20 after tax. Instead I got what looks like someones leftovers. I know presentation isn't going to be great when ordering take out but this was such a small portion for so much. At least add some lettuce or something.
Taste was ok but you can get something as good if not better from a drive through for half the cost.
Staff was nice but there are just way better restaurants with better prices in town.

We are long time customers, but we are so disappointed in the pizza you are now serving! It tasted like a frozen pizza- we ordered pepperoni and mushrooom and had very little toppings, it was mostly just a cheese pizza. The crust was different than what you usually serve, similar to a frozen pizza crust. The men’s bathroom smelled like urine- needed cleaned! We visited your location in Nashville recently and our salad had a metal bread tie in it which my husband had to fish out of his mouth! At both locations our service was excellent!! We are putting this review out here in hopes management can make things better as we have enjoyed your restaurants for many years!

Went there with a group of friends. I ordered there bacon cheeseburger. The waitress asked how I wanted it cooked. I said medium rare and my fries extra crispy. When I got my food , my cheeseburger it was medium well, and the french fries were only luke warm and not crispy. The atmosphere is great but the food was not so good.
My daughter got “ Fresh fruit” with her kids meal that costs an extra $.99 and it came with a bowl of canned fruit cocktail. The fish tacos were more like big balls of batter with a little bit of fish inside and the “slaw” they put on top was a few pieces of grass dipped in olive oil with chopped onions piled on top. The food was terrible our waiter, Colton, was great but we will NOT be back

Pizza is like “_________”,… they are ALL good. Except for pizza from Big Woods. Oh. My. Word. I have NEVER had pizza that I threw away leftovers - and I used to eat three day old pizza from someone ELSE’S fridge 30 years ago in college. The crust is abysmal: limp, thin crust had zero crunch, no flavor. Canned sauce - and there is NOTHING wrong with cans - but this was weak and bland. How can you mess up cheese? They found a way. Salads = Great! Burgers = Wonderful! Staff = Outstanding! View = Phenomenal! Pizza = slam my tongue in a car door and it’s less painful
