Wife and I went out for her birthday dinner. We chose the blue cactus and the artcraft theater for the festivities. Place has great decor, comfortable settings and nice bathrooms. We both chose street tacos, I with the Carne azada and she with the fish. We traded out tacos so we could both try them. The fish sauce is wonderful and the fish itself was cooked perfectly. The Carne azada was spiced well and tasty but pretty dry. The verde sauce was very good. We had the guacamole, and it was the creamy style that had the perfect amount of heat! Over all it was a good meal for a good price.

Another Fred Paris failure... The food is subpar at best.... we quit coming about a year ago. Was invited to a birthday party tonight and it's still terrible.... Ordered a burrito gigante. All it had was black beans, dry chicken, and yellow rice. Can you say DRY?! No flavor at all. How boring! Other places it comes lettuce, sour cream, tomatoes, cheese, refried beans, etc. To top it off it was served on a bed of white rice! Why would you use 2 different rices on this dish. I won't make the mistake by going here again. You have taken the last penny you're getting from me!

The Tenga tacos are mouth watering. In the appetizer menu, the quesadilla sampler is very good as well. Honestly, there is a lot of variety, and everything I have eaten there so far has been fantastic. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the fajitas. You get a good bit, but ask for an additional pack of flour tortillas. You'll need it. Highly recommend this place.
Good quality Mexican food at reasonable prices. Had fish tacos tasted great nice sauce. Rice & beans tasted good. Table side salsa very good with just a little heat.

I've stopped by twice now for to-go orders. Both meals have been great. The Street Tacos were really good, but those Jalepeno Fireballs are just killer!I'll be back soon for dine-in as the margarita & tequila selections also look good.

What can i, yum!! I went here while in town visiting my boyfriend. Had lunch, the fajitas with carne asada and the tequila flight. The food was amazing! My only complaint was the drinks were premade so you couldn't taste the alcohol in them but otherwise food and service was great! Such a beautiful atmosphere to have a date or drinks or group gathering. I will be back next time im in Indianapolis area.

OMG!!! YESSS!!! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I'm going to be honest, I was expecting an Americanized Mexican restaurant, and wow was I wrong!!!! I absolutely LOVED coming to the Blue Cactus and would 100% recommend!! The drive from where I live to there is 50 minutes, and it is SO WORTH IT!!! When you get seated they give you chips and salsa, and the salsa has some spice to it, and it is perfectly blended, it's obvious they make the chips in house, we got the chorizo balls, they were lightly fried and had a sauce underneath them that wowed us. We also got the corn tacos with truffles that are an experience everyone must try at some point in their lives. We also got these steak tacos that were seasoned to perfection and had a twist to their taste. I was a bit concerned at first as I didn't think it would be filling, and I was so pleasantly surprised. I can't wait to come back and bring my friends and family.

we usually order takeout. food is always consistent. if you order chips and salsa, they actually give you the amount listed on the menu. kids meals are reasonably priced (big plus for our family). my husband found a hair in his food once, and that didnt deter this from being our go-to mexican restaurant- if that tells you anything.
