This is a pretty solid favorite of our family. Wonderful fluffy rice, and generous portions. The chefs do a great job with seasoning and all that.My only real complaint is probably the portion sizes. Lol. Sometimes it can be insanely over kill. It's not a horrible problem, most are fine. But a baby sized rice being served enough to feed 3 adults Is a little much. Lol

A group of us went to Mi Abuelita at the last minute, and the staff was accommodating, friendly, and attentive to our various orders. Service was prompt and very helpful! The food was authentic and amazing, and everyone at our table raved about their meal. The quality and quantity of food for the value was excellent. You must try this place!

I’ve enjoyed this downtown spot every time I visit! Love the salsa and the food is always fast and delicious! On this particular visit, our server could have been more attentive, but we weren’t in a huge rush, so the extra waiting time (napkins, our check, etc) wasn’t that big of a deal.

I could never find a mexican restaurant that serves tamales that taste almost as good as street tamales, until I found Mi Abuelito's. The Trios Burrito was superb, Horchata phenomenal, customer service was excellent. Highly recommended.

All of the Mi Abuelito stores we have visited have been 100% phenomenal. Super friendly staff and the food is always fresh and hot. Will continue to be our go too restaurant.

I've been here a couple a couple of times and had decent services. The food is good but the prices are pretty high compared to other local Mexican restaurants. Tonight, we had horrible service. The waiter I've had each time I've been here was not friendly at all. Never came back to check on us or refill drinks. Took over 30 mins just to get a box. When I asked for the bill, he was very unfriendly. Food wasn't exactly how we ordered but he never came back to check on us. I ge

I know they try to do the best. But Iove my wife's food. Thanks anyway.

Meh. I had a Quesadilla a la Diabla, which amounted to a grilled flour tortilla folded in half and stuffed with small bits of chicken and chorizo. It came with salad, which in Mexican restaurant parlance is lettuce, tomatoes, rice and beans. The quesadilla was a little spicy, but not overly so. The chicken was bland and the chorizo didn't really taste much like good chorizo. The chips were greasy and barely above room temperature. The salsa was ok. The service was fine. So unless this was just a case of my choosing the wrong thing on the menu, I didn't think this place was anything special, nor did it deserve the high ratings other reviewers have given it. Maybe I need to go back, try something else on the menu and be more open-minded. But there's a handful of other Mexican joints just in that nearby area that look pretty good. So this may be a 'compete or die' situation. The place was virtually empty when I went, which was during dinner hour on a week night. I wish them luck.

Always great food, polite servers and fair prices. One of our Franklin favorites.

We’ve dined in multiple times, but today was our first take-out experience. It did not disappoint! The mushroom quesadillas were hot, and they came with a good-sized portion of rice & salad. The chips & salsa were good too. The food was ready in 15 minutes - All in all, awesome experience.

The wasn't bad. That's the bad news. It wasn't really good either. The tostada was anything but toasty. The chips were horrible, small (I mean tiny) and broken, stale and greasy. Last but not least, the burrito was boring. I've tried this place three times. Strike three. There are too many better Mexican options in Franklin. I'm surprised this place gets 4.5 Stars!
