I and my fiance eat at Penn station at least once a week if not twice and it's always Columbus Indiana Franklin Indiana greenwood Indiana occasionally in Indianapolis and twice in the past month now we have gotten one from Franklin Indiana that did not have lettuce tomato and mayonnaise let alone extra mayonnaise that we ordered in store and it was just dry and not great which is very disappointing because like I said we eat there quite often and we always get the chicken teriyaki add lettuce tomato mayonnaise extra mayonnaise extra teriyaki and greenwood and Columbus I don't think without fail has ever made one so dry and not as pleasing as the two we've gotten from Franklin recently definitely not satisfied at all from there but like I said we eat there once maybe twice a week in Columbus and greenwood have never failed my taste buds yet like the dry to I've gotten from Franklin no mayonnaise lettuce tomato nothing at all but yeah it was on my order and my receipt

Ordered a Dagwood salad, what arrived was a bowl full of sliced lettuce. I contacted Door Dash, they refused a refund, phoned Penn Station they refused to make good on the order and when we showed up in person refused a refund. Never again

Ordered delivery with over an hour left until closing time. The driver was there to pick it up a couple minutes before closing and they said that they didn't make the order at all.
The order was one large hot sandwich and a medium cold sandwich. I also had a coupon for this and now it's gone. This resturant isn't listed on the BBB website either.

I have never written a review like this before but am just disgusted by the behavior of one employee named Leslie (I asked her name) at the Franklin IN location. I have been eating at this location for more than 15 years and have seen multiple employee come and go. Leslie is the worst one with her foul mouth, eye rolling and slamming of materials because she has to do her job. I was there with my 7 year old daughter and Leslie yelled out the F word because she had to remake someone’s sandwich which was messed up. She slammed containers and spatulas around as they got busy. I have seen her stand toward the back and vape inside which is disgusting in a food environment. She makes you feel like you are putting her out when you come through the door…she IS GETTING PAID TO MAKE SANDWICHES!!! I have never seen anyone more unprofessional or unkind in my life and again I have been going to this location for over 15 YEARS!!! I never want my kids to see someone act or talk like that again especially while being paid to do a job. I understand it might be hard to get good help but there is no reason to employ someone like this to work with the public. She needs fired immediately yelling out the F word like that. I would rather wait longer for my food than to see her there again and I’m sure I am not the only one she has offended. Please understand I have never done this before but I will not subject my family to such behavior in order to continue eating here. Thanks for your time

I was originally horribly disappointed. I do not live near a Penn Station these days, but it is hands down one of my favorite sandwiches. I happened to be in Franklin, IN today and looked up to find the closest one. As luck would have it, there was one in Franklin a few miles down the road. It was 9 PM, they closed at 10 PM. I hurried and got there at 9:20 PM, to find them cleaning the grill and no longer cooking for the night.
I left dejected, and still wanting Penn Station. The local Wing Stop took care of me. Review on them coming later.
Update - 11 July 2024: So as you see below the link is for their email address, where they ask what time and what store this happened. If you read above, you can see both the store and the time in the review. This maybe a larger problem than the local Penn Station. Corporate? I sent the complaint via their system, copying and pasting. I'll update if I hear something.
Update - 12 July 2024: Someone did in fact reach out to me via telephone today. They were pleasant, listened, and really concerned about the impact of negative service can have in today's competitive environment. It is, and has always been, more than just a sandwich. We discussed not only my isolated incident, but how this impacts everyone from customer, to owner, to manager, down to the newest employee. I am so impressed after speaking to them, that I will try that particular location again, on my next trip through the great Hoosier state. Thank you.

We have been coming to this Penn Station for years. However recently there is a person working here that is rude. The last time she argued with me about the fries because I asked they not be burnt. Today, I requested this again, it is never a problem unless she is here. Her response was that the oil is old and they are busy so she can't promise that my fries will look as the photo of them in the store. When we received the fries, she didn't lie. They taste like rancid oil. I'm not sure which is worse, the fact that she told me and served them to us or the fact that I didn't just leave instead of purchasing them.

Nothing wrong with the atmosphere but food quality and service is lacking. Worker on 4/1/24 did not mind to put rotten ingredients on my sandwich. I unwrap my sandwich to the stench of rotten lettuce and spoiled chicken. I am sorry the ingredients had spoiled but you need to throw them away instead of serving as that is part of the price of doing business.
