After the high school football game we stopped for a late dinner, we confirmed when parking that we would have time to order and eat inside and saw that closing was not until 10pm. It was around 9:15pm when we walked in. The floors were mopped and rather wet (which is fine we appreciate a clean restaurant), one of the young ladies on the grill immediately rolled her eyes, and seemed irritated that we were there. When my husband asked if we could eat inside or if they were closing the cashier then emphasized that they had started closing, but then regressed and said but we could do either. I completely understand that it’s Friday night and these young ladies probably have better things to do and want to get out as soon as possible. But with all the demeanors we experienced I can tell you we just will go next door to wing stop next time. One of our sandwiches was also not made as ordered, but we didn’t go back in. If your sign states you close at 10, it feels very unwelcoming when you come in with 40 minutes and not feel like you should stay. I use to really enjoy this penn station, food was fresh and delicious and staff was super kind. There is a new female manager and the last two times I have ordered she has been there. I am not a person who leaves reviews usually. I typically just kind of take the loss and move on. Managing in customer service for 13 years, poor customer service grinds my gears but especially when its from management. I ordered over the weekend and the phone greeting was immediately informed that they closed in 30 minutes, I asked can I still order and was told yes if I could get there within 15 minutes. I still ordered and I even apologized that they had to make my sandwich so close to close. (This is all interaction with the manager) I then placed a door dash order this evening. About $60 worth, I called to ask to have mayonnaise added to a sandwich employee that answers the phone is super friendly and says yes. Manager interrupts her yelling from where ever she is and says we can't do that. Odd?? I have done this countless times before but ok, I say I'm not going to argue can you please just put several mayonnaise packets in the bag. Food comes and no mayonnaise. It costs nothing to be kind and I am PAYING for your service and YOU are getting PAID to work. Makes no sense. I feel terrible for the team that has to work with her. Poor leaders drive away good employees and will drive away customers even more.

Be careful get food from here. I was get food from here tonight.Seen an employee cleaning in the dining room and was pick up the mats off the floor. Think god for the customer that said some to the employee she went from pick up the mats to bagging the food with the same gloves on. When the customer said something to her the manager Jade want to get mad at the customer for saying something to the employee. He had ever right to say something she could have made someone very sick to night. They manager didn’t even care what the customer had to say he made her remake all the food. She wasn’t happy when he ask for for it to be remade. So if you order food tonight around 845 to 930 that could have been your food.

Penn Station has my favorite fries, bar none. I used to go to one by an old job so often, they put my picture on the wall. My girl laughs at the sign every time we pass one, because she says it look like it says, "Peast Coast Subs" I also like the chicken parm
