My husband took me and my daughter to steak and shake and when we first walked in the staff was singing and dancing... And just working away, it was an awesome vibe they were so friendly and just doing there thing... We loved the singing and dancing, they were not stressed or in a bad mood... Thank you steak and shake staff for making it a great eating experience... Keep it up

The place is basically the same my whole life besides it the quality of the food seems like it has went down a little bit or maybe the variety of other places have changed the quality of their food I am not sure still a decent place to eat and the atmosphere is pretty decent

I do love franklin steak n shake. Unfortunately, since they discontinued everything healthy on the menu, we don't eat there as often. No salads, no cottage cheese with a pineapple ring, no vegetable barley soup, no chicken. The only thing healthy on the entire menu is applesauce. 😐. Guess what every child wants in their kids meal? Chicken nuggets or tenders. They replaced all chicken options with hot dogs. 😐Wish they would bring these healthy options, if for no other reason to have more variety with food choices. Dining in changed after covid as most places did. But steak n shake never returned to the restaurant style with service. Now there is a kiosk to place your order & pay. You seat yourself. No condiments or even napkins are on the table. The yell out your number when your food is ready & its all on a tray to go style in paper. If you need more napkins or ketchup, you must go back up to the pick up counter and wait for someone to notice you to request what's needed. Though you do save not needing to tip, you might as well just get it to go & eat at home. I sure miss the food and service that it used to be. Great burgers & chili though. We just dont come as often
Lamar is an amazing young man! He made sure our food was hot and fresh. He made sure the dining room was super clean. He has a beautiful spirit about him.

great food, but the self service kiosk confused several customers. if you get a drink you need a barcode to scan in order for the fountain drink machine. and they workers just bring the food to a counter off to the side and you have to figure out which items are yours. I had to ask the workers about my shake and they found it on the counter with a drink lid instead of the clear lid.
