Locally known. We had to enjoy sports conversations from locals chatting from table to table (Loudly) š . DECOR, Sandstone brown with Mustard yellow. Not aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. Food service was good. Food preparation.. Just wait. .30 minutes. One cook 2 servers. Food quality was really nice. Plenty of food for your $. Price was fair. Oh they up charge for card purchases %4. Very small signage that really doesn't explain much.

The food was pretty good. I got a western omelette. My only complaint is that none of the ingredients were cooked. Peppers onions, was put in the omelet before folded and raw.

Do not go there. They have reserved seating for locals. My group went in there this morning and we were told every empty table we walked up to that we ācanāt sit thereā. The entire restaurant was empty. We had been sitting for 15 minutes waiting for them to open and all the tables were ātakenā. Seems like a good civil rights violation lawsuit. Maybe we were the wrong color or class? Iām not sure.

Been here 4 times. First time was great. Amazing food, great service. Second time the service was lackingā¦like 35 minutes to get my coffee and never saw our waitress again until we were paying and leaving. Figured ok, everyone has bad days, no biggie. Third time we came in at 945a for breakfast and was told it was lunch only by the time we got our ordered taken a half hour laterā¦even though everyone else was actively being served breakfast. Now, currently sitting in here on 9/22/24 and itās 959am. There were 3 tables when we came in and not busy at all. Waitress started to take our order (me, wife and 2 year old granddaughter by the window halfway down the building) and asked if she could go get another tableās food that dinged up ready. Left her book at the table and then proceeded to forget all about us and got the orders of 3 other tables that came in well after we did. I filled out our order on the pad and took it and the menus up to the pay area and turned in our order after 25 minutes. I havenāt had a single refill of coffee but Iām watching regulars get served left and right. I get it, thereās one server, but Iām sitting here longer than most with a toddler whoās hungry. Come on people, youāre better than this. Definitely wonāt be back as it seems as if youāre not a regular, you donāt matter. Sad thing is, I live right down the road and itād be a regular spot for us.

Absolutely the best! Great servers - Great food. Came to Galveston for an estate sale. Stopped there for breakfast. Food cooked to perfection and was nice and hot. Wish they were in our town.
I like Diddles Diner, but Iāve only had their breakfast foods. The servers at Diddles are great; very friendly and attentive. The food tastes good overall and the portions are big. The value for what you pay is very good.
