Expensive, but good! Atmosphere is definitely indicative of this being one of the three places to eat in a small town. It can be loud and obnoxious to the point of having to yell to hear across the table. Despite that, the food is very decent. The burgers especially. Only caveat there is that it’s a small town diner charging big city prices.
My wife and I had been wanting to stop in the newly remodeled Johnson’s tavern. We used to order dinners to go from Johnson’s fairly often many years ago, but we had kind of forgot about them until we noticed the remodeling activities.
Inside and outside, they’ve done a really nice job updating. The atmosphere is brighter and more open and inviting than it used to be.

What a surprise! Very nice and clean. Tons of TV 's, nice decor and ambiance. The menu had a lot of options and all eight of us enjoyed our meals and commented about coming back to try more. Come check it out!
