Excellent service and excellent food! Waiter was amazing. Appetizers of onion rings and mushrooms were perfect! All our food was perfect. We came for the German food and were completely satisfied!
The food was awesome with generous portions! I particularly enjoyed our appetizer, the potato kroketten. Our server was amazing and answered all of our questions.
What a hidden treasure! We happened upon this unique restaurant while driving through town and decided to stop for dinner. We went with Italian this time, but the German offerings looked wonderful, too. My husband had the Tortellini with Cream Sauce. He used to visit Italy often while in the military and said it's the most authentic Italian he has had since his visits there. I had the Chicken Parmasean with pasta and veggies. It was excellent as well! Our server was extremely helpful, and we enjoyed talking to him. We will be back!

We have now been to Mino's II on two different occasions. This place is a hidden Gem in Garrett, Indiana. The menu is full of authentic German and Italian dishes. The owner (she is the cook too) is from Germany, and her father was Italian. My wife and I have only had the German dishes, and they were outstanding! A friend of ours had the chicken marsala and said it was very good. The service is excellent. Would highly recommend this restaurant! Both 6 we visited we sat in the beer garden. It is lovely and it's the perfect outdoor dining setting.

Don’t know what’s happened at the Mino but the food quality has gone down a lot. Bacon was overcooked, the potatoes in my omelette were undercooked and it seemed to have a couple of uncooked cheese slices, and the sausage gravy was runny. All the food was bland. Won’t be back for a while and been going here for a long time.

Second time here, and it was even better than my first time. Incredible service, the lasagna was amazing, a good beer list, and had a great conversation with Amber and the owner while sitting at the small bar.Food was very fresh (just pulled from oven, actually). In talking with the owner, she is of Italian and German descent, and her cooking reflects exactly what she ate at home. The menu reflected this, as there are selections on the menu I've not seen at most typical German restaurants. It's very authentic, and prices are very affordable.I'll definitely be making this a regular stop whenever I am in the area.

A small town hidden gem for German cuisine! We tried this place for the first time. Our server was upfront when he explained that food was prepared nearly from scratch and that it would be a bit of a wait. We appreciated his honesty, but we didn’t think it took that long anyway. We also walked in just before a party of 21 came in. The schnitzels were excellent. It was very reasonably priced as well. This place is worth the drive to Garrett. We’ll definitely be back.
