I used to love Cracker Barrel but wow the prices are crazy the food was good the portions are quite a bit smaller the charge extra for everything I get to the register to pay I ask if they have a toothpick she said for Sell 😂🤣 no more now I know why the place was about empty
This place is amazing good old home cooked meals and refills on drinks 🍸 food always hot 🔥 and so delicious
The food tasted great. But the portion of meatloaf, which was very good, was extremely small. It was delicious but not worth it based on the portion size.
Very reliable. Good food and good value.
We do not usually have a good experience at the Cracker Barrel in Gas City. The service is fine the food is not. This time they didn’t have any mashed potatoes and so my husband was stuck with a side dish he didn’t really want. The food was not very hot either. It’s too bad, we would like to eat here more often but every time we come we are usually disappointed with some aspect of our meal.
I always have a good experience at the Gas City, IN restaurant.
Awesome experience

Food quality was good but the portions are small, plus the mimosa no longer comes with the bottle on the side to refill, which was disappointing since it was New Years Eve!

Waitress was not very friendly, nor did she act like she wanted to be working. She was very unfriendly. We had to ask several times for drink refills and food items that were not brought to us. She never removed empty dishes from the table. They were still on the table when we paid check thru the app and left. They were not busy at all.

We ordered 5 meals for carry out. The steak dinners had so much salt on them that they were inedible. Literally had to wash them off and reheat them in the microwave.

The "tried and true" Country Boy breakfast. Perfect for any road trip.

I think I may have to give up on takeout orders. Keep getting my orders wrong. I believe part of their problem is that they take your order in the kitchen area which is frustrating in itself.
They are hearing so much clanging of dishes along with the clatter of the kitchen help to put all their attention on the customers order. This is just my opinion. I expressed this problem to the kind manager. I have no problem with the service when we eat in though.
Wish the food was hotter

tried to pick up my Holiday heat and serve meal at the time designated. waited 15 minutes to be met with an employee who was dripping liquid from the box of food i was supposed to take home. that i thought would be cold and sealed. however it was all fresh food put in aluminum containers hot. Was told my meal was sold so they put this together for me. Used heating instructions given to me but it dried all of the food out. Not a great experience . 170$ for dried out food.
