Fish and chips medium size, super flavorful, flaky cod , fries were good, potato salad with raspberry sauce and potato onion soup were fantastic, definitely a return to restaurant

Neat little place with a unique menu. It was a cold rainy day so my partner and I went with soup and grilled cheese and hot tea. The Earl Grey tea was nice and hot and they had cream and honey when I asked. The creamy chili (pictured) was the soup of the day which I got with the cheddar grilled cheese, the cock-a-leekie soup was my partners choice with the Gouda grilled cheese. The soups were hot and flavorful and the grilled cheeses were on a delicious sourdough bread perfect for dipping. We also got the sticky toffee pudding for dessert and it was very delicious. If I lived nearby this would be a regular stop for me for sure. The server was new, didn’t know some of the menu, but overall was diligent and very nice. We asked lots of questions and she had answers. Alexis B - Good Luck and thank you!

This white fish is second to none. The wait staff is friendly, efficient and helpful to the first time visitor. We loved our fish and chips and soup. Wish there was room in my belly for one of the desserts listed. Maybe next time

Not our kind of place at all. The service sucked we waited for 15 minutes to get our drink order. People who got sat down after us got ordered way before us. Not a huge deal. The menu is thrown together no explanation’s what so ever. The time we got the food it was subpar nothing great to talk about. We won’t begin back.

If you're looking for British food in Indiana, this is a great place to go. The menu doesn't have descriptions, but the dishes make great talking points with your guests and the waitstaff help with descriptions.
We enjoyed our dishes and even tried the desserts, which did not disappoint. We plan on stopping in again on our next trip from Indy to Ann Arbor and back to check out the other dishes.
There is plenty of outdoor seating for nice evenings. I gave the service 4 stars bc, while our server was great, it did take a bit of time to get our desserts on the table. We were sensitive to timing since we were traveling and wanted to get home.

We really liked the daily soup specials of chic pea and potato chicken. The cod was very good and a large piece.

Wow. It’s been a minute since I’ve reviewed a restaurant, but I went to this place without any preconceived notions (traveling through in a road trip) and was blown away with joyful surprise. Best fish n’ chips, cock-ee-leek soup, and overall British fare. Great bang for your buck! We’ll have to go again the next time we pass by Gas City.

The overall quality of the food was mediocre, though I felt it was a bit expensive. The service could have been better, as the waitress was not very attentive after delivering our meals. She did not seem to notice that I was not entirely pleased with my meal, as I did not eat three quarters of it. The ambiance, however, was quite pleasant, with a well-decorated interior.
I ordered the Bangers & Mash, which, in my opinion, was not the best I've had, and I felt it was overpriced. The bangers were simply average bratwurst, nothing remarkable. The mashed potatoes were rather bland and unremarkable as well. The raspberry potato salad was essentially regular potato salad with a raspberry vinaigrette drizzled over it.
The fish and chips featured a nicely prepared piece of fish, but it was a bit soggy on the underside, which was a disappointment, as I was hoping for a delightful crunch. The chips were good, although there were not many of them. The price was a little high, but acceptable.
We were also served a cold bean dip with tortilla chips. It was quite bland and lacked flavor. The waitress did not offer any explanation about it.
Considering the quality, service, and price, I found myself wishing I had chosen Cracker Barrel instead. I was somewhat disappointed, or perhaps my expectations were too high. Regrettably, we will not be returning.

Thank you very much for the covered outdoor seating area as we were traveling with a small dog this was great. The fish and chips were spot on along with the malt vinegar. Thank you!
