Today is the last time coming here for me. Cottage cheese was rotten. Food never looks fresh if you come later in the day. It’s dried up under heat lamps. A few months back they were serving rotten mashed potatoes. I don’t think your customers are looking for food poisoning during their dining experience. Do better.
What a shocking experience. We happened to be in the area and had been meaning to try this place- thought we would stop for a quick snack. From the moment we walked in, we knew we made a mistake. We were “greeted” in a super unwelcome way but eventually allowed to take a seat and ordered some apps. Dirty table, eventually given silverware that was also dirty. Employees kissing in the dining room. Super unorganized from start to finish. Onion rings tasted better than they looked, cheese curds came out incorrectly but were ok. Prices seemed reasonable but due to the lack of cleanliness and customer service, we wouldn’t recommend. Too bad because we don’t have many restaurants to choose from out here!
Amazing clean place, friendly people, great food! And decently affordable!!
Food was great.
We went there at 3pm and it was just us and the workers. Said we could only get the buffet till 4pm. The food was dried out and cold. I think it must have been there since it started at 1pm. Never been to a buffet where the food wasn't fresh and filled up. No matter what. Basically was all leftovers from lunch. Used to go there a lot many years ago and the food was fabulous. I'm not a picky person, and can usually eat anything, but I can't believe they could serve food like that. The people working were very very nice, but I will never go back.
1st and last time here. Omelette wasn't done, slimmy eggs, never in my life have I seen a pancake like this. It was like a tortilla. Pic below. Hash Browns were plain shredded potatoes. Dried toast made from store brand type toast not even buttered. Coffee was the only thing good. Don't waste your money.
The worst dinning experience we ever had and plastic forks and spoons (no knives) and paper plates at a 16$ a person for a buffet of chicken. Never again
Avoid this place .
The worst dining experience I've ever had
Family Operated And Friendly Workers.
First time there and my last time too. Worst buffet I have ever been to. Worst service, I mean I don't ever complain. The brown lady that helped us was the worst part of the whole thing. Fire her or close down cause that's were you guys are heading. What dishes do I recommend, NONE OF IT.........

This grieves me to write this review.
We have always shopped at Grabil Country Sales and ate at the buffet inside while we were there. It always was VERY good! We went in there last week and were surprised to find that the buffet was gone and the area it occupied was being set up for additional sales isles. We were told by an employee that the buffet business had moved across the street into the Woodhouse Restaurant. The employee said they needed more room, and the food was much better now. This I had to see since the old buffet was really good, and now it's supposed to be even better! My wife and I went over and inside, and we found a small seating area with a small buffet... smaller than the old one and with fewer items. The cost of the buffet was the same (if not a little higher). I got the full buffet (as I always do), and my wife had the salad bar. To say we were underwhelmed is an understatement. The food was not good at all. There was nothing that reminded us of the quality of food we have come to love at the old place. The amount of food on the buffet was only about 75% of the old one. I could not eat the mac & cheese as it tasted of a metal pan. The potatoes were not the wonderful, buttery, whipped potatoes of the past. They had no seasoning taste at all. We had to ask for dinner rolls (they are no longer home-made bakery rolls but are the pre-packaged Hawaiian rolls.) There was no pie set out. When I asked, they said they would bring out a piece from the kitchen (remember it is part of the buffet).
My wife's salad lettuce was wilty, and the vegetables tasted old and rubbery. It was so bad, we got up and left with food still on our plates, and without even trying the pie.
I do hope they improve and bring authentic Amish cooking back. If it stays as is, I won't be back.

I have long known about how good the dinner menu was at the Woodhouse, but, today I had the pleasure of checking out their lunch buffet that is open from 10:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m. it was fantastic. The food was fresh and very flavorful. The wait staff was energetic, kind, and very professional. I would very much recommend this to anyone who wants to have a really good lunch experience.

The absolute worst! I couldn't believe it! I could never understand why there were never cars there. Now I know. The interior is nice and that's where it stops. Service was soooooo slooooow! I sat and watched plates of food pile up under the warmer and nothing left the kitchen. My burger sat under it for nearly 15 minutes. Not even a stretch. The fries on everyone's plates were tough because they sat there forever as well. The chicken fried steak gravy was dry and congealed as was the gravy on the potatoes. Everything sat there forever! The person that got the mashed potatoes and gravy said they tasted like the potatoes hadn't been washed. I have never heard of them being described that way, but it was accurate. The server was rarely seen and wasnt engaging. I wish there was something redeeming about the place but there really wasn't. How has this place stayed in business?

I’ve been to Woodhouse Restaurant several times! They have Excellent service! Excellent food! Great prices! and they have the friendliest staff!
Wheelchair accessibility: Woodhouse has great parking for wheelchair users like myself. The Restaurant is wheelchair accessible and there is plenty of room in the restroom.
