Bad bad bad, this people are so slow I never came again
My blizzard was melting wasn’t made good at all the drive lady appearance was not great dirty shirt, dirty teeth and I don’t know if she was sanitizing or washing her hands. Normally I wouldn’t pay if I feel the ppl at a restaurant isn’t sanitary but I won’t be returning to this one at all..
Kyle was great
Moved to area back in February. My husband has tried on two separate occasions in different months to get ice cream - magically the ice cream machine has been broken each time. Seriously? Your name is ‘Dairy’ Queen. The franchise owner better know their machine is broken all the time.
And the second time they made my husband wait 5 minutes in the drive through line despite him being the only customer.
We won’t be wasting our time for a third chance at this location.
Drive thru for the win! Fast and very yummy 😋
horrible shut this place down. blizzard was melted in one second.
Unfortunately, the condition of the establishment has deteriorated significantly. There is some water damage (I think it's water damage) inside, and there are no umbrellas outside, making it uncomfortable for customers and staff alike. The building is falling apart, and it's clear the repairs are needed.
Despite these challenges, the employees are exceptional. They work to provide great service and maintain a positive atmosphere, even under difficult circumstances. It's disheartening to see such dedicated workers not having a safe work environment. It is also incredibly understaffed. In the mornings, I've seen the staff down to three people. Two if someone gets sent home because of labor. I've seen them managing the whole joint, just two or three people, while also cleaning and taking orders and making food and ice cream and unloading the entire truckloads of food/ice cream from the back. However much they're making, it's not enough.
I won't say much on the prices.. but $40 dollars for a cake? 4 dollars for a soft drink? Almost 9 dollars for one large blizzard. Feels a bit much
Additionally, the equipment is often faulty. Particularly the ice cream machines. I've seen many complaints about the ice cream being runny, but I'm here to say it's not the employees. They will make a blizzard right in front of you and hand it to you 30 seconds later and it will be runny. That's not their fault. And I'm not talking about blizzards with hot ingredients like fudge/caramel/cocoa fudge. I once came in and witnessed the employees running from drive to front to use the ice cream machine up there because it had broken again. There's not much they can do except put it in the freezer to harden a but, but then people in the drive-through get impatient.
It's crucial that the owner invests in the necessary repairs and improvements to ensure both the safety of the employees and the satisfaction of their customers. Their hardworking staff deserves better, and it's time for the owners to step up and take action.
Waited an HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES for my order to be wrong. Insane
I get it things happen. But how does dq run out of spoons? It seems like if this unlikely situation happens you would warn the customer before they ordered ice cream. How do you eat ice cream without a spoon? Their reply, “ I don’t know but we won’t have any until tomorrow.” And close the window…
Terrible customer service
Fast, Clean, and great food. Nice outdoor seating.
Restaurantji Recommends
Decided to call the cops because I was sitting there eating during lunch hour. Thanks guys for wasting tax dollars and assuming that I was doing something wrong. SJPD has better things to do as well
The ice cream and food were good.
I placed an order on Christmas eve. The app said the store was open but they were actually closed.( I have no real issues with this) my issue is they still charged my card for the order. I assumed whenever they came in after Christmas they would just cancel the order and give me my money back. This did not happen I messaged corporate and they told me I would have to talk to the individual store to get it refunded. I have gone into the store and/or called them in 3 different occasions about the issue. Each time they told me the store owner was responsible for that. They won't give me the owners email or phone number and apparently they have no idea when she will me in for me to talk to her. I have talked to corporate more times and they have sent her the issue each time as well and she still won't respond. The employees themselves have been very kind and I have no issues with.
Good customer service and the food was prepared properly and given to us fast. Definitely a good Dairy Queen.
