Our server was mia most of the evening. When we asked why our appetizer didn’t come before dinner, server said, “can’t you see we are busy?” The food was not cooked correctly and it was cold. Again, server was mia. We reached out to management to share our experience with no response. We will not be back.
Hibachi was spot on. Yum!

The food was better than average with a good selection of sushi and traditional Japanese dishes. The miso soup is also well made, though a bit more salty than I would like. Our servers did a good job of serving and removing dishes as we ate.
The atmosphere is only earning an average score because the restaurant is very dark. The lighting is poor and I believe that is by design. We had a business lunch here and I had to turn on the flashlight function on my phone in order to read paper documents. The men's restroom was adequately clean, but the urinal was marked with a sign that said out of order. I wonder how long the urinal has been out of order? I believe the cleanliness and operational functions of a public restroom give a hint as to the cleanliness and sanitation care of the food preparation. Overall, the bathroom was better than many I have seen, but there is room for improvement.
The prices are in line with most Japanese restaurants, but bear in mind that Japanese fare is more expensive than most American dishes. Would I come here again? Yes, I would as the food tasted good and fresh and the service was excellent, but I did not like the low lighting and the bathroom urinal should be a priority to get fixed, in my opinion.

Never got the food we ordered and the waitress didn’t care. Joke of a restaurant.

Used to love this place… so much so that today we drove here from our new house in Fort Wayne. Extremely disappointed. It gets worse and worse every-time we’ve come. All item menu prices are $3 higher (EACH!) than before (we last came in Sept) and the portions are about half the size as before as well. Our vegetables were not cooked all the way, the zucchini was still very hard. The steak was not a very good cut of meat as I had a few pieces that were all fat/ muscle. The shrimp was overcooked and like rubber. Definitely not worth $90 for just two people. The salad and soup sides were good but definitely a waste of time coming here and we won’t be back. Which is sad as we used to come quite often.

Food lacked luster. Rice had maybe a pea or two it in. Chef salted the vegetables so much that I could not eat them. Soup was served nearly cold, nothing in it at all. Meat was tasteless. The chef got an order wrong and became very upset when told to correct it. He was so ticked off, he grabbed the white piece of paper and stormed off leaving the food cooking on the grill. The customer was very upset. The chef was VERY VERY unfriendly The food made my stomach hurt and I had to take medicine when I got home. Also there was an untold gratuity placed on our check. When the entire table asked about it we were told they were under the impression that we were a group. Hmmmm... we were not seated at the same time. Never returning to this restaurant ever again. The atmosphere is nice, and the restaurant is pretty. Too bad the food is so bad.

If your cook is good you'll have a great experience. We, however, did not. Our cook struggled with allergy requirements (even though he was given a slip with that info) and had a hard time understanding our explanations. Also, for some reason, he wasn't given proper quantities for everyone so I had to wait quite a while for my shrimp. Our experience was probably not typical of this restaurant in general, but that was our experience.

I love the food here.
The waiters work so hard to give good service but they always seem understaffed. Still, everyone seems happy and helpful. My favorite lunch spot! 🍣🥡🥢

Excellent food and service. You can choose between regular seating and watching your food prepared. The chiefs put on an incredible show while preparing your food.

Celebrated our grandsons 6th birthday tonight. Party of 10 at hibachi table. 400 dollars later and extremely disappointed.
**Food** ordered filet mignon, that was definitely NOT filet…more like a shoulder round. Shrimp sat on the grill the entire time and was second to last to be served, like rubber!! Chef had zero personality, obviously very new. He Struggled every step of the way. But the kicker is he sprayed my grandson in the face with soy sauce and even with him covering his face with his arms he did not stop, both of our shirts were covered with soy splatter as well. No he was not aiming for any mouths he was missing the veges on the grill and not paying attention…zucchini tasted old and rotten. after spending that type of money on such an awful meal I feel this review is needed. All 10 at the table were left feeling the same. The soup was the best part! I’m not one to leave reviews unless it is just that bad or amazing..and it was awful! Sincerely, disappointed and soaking new shirt in stain remover.
