Had the house salad and 2 sushi rolls. Both had deep fried items in it. Either they used really old oil or something was wrong with the food. Even the rice tasted weird. Server was slow but fine when she was there. I love sushi and a few bites in I called it quits.

The salad was good. We got 3 sushi rolls and a side of fried rice and they all tasted off. We suspect the oil in the fryer might be to blame.
The atmosphere was really beautiful and I expected the food to be better, especially for the price.

Kid-friendliness: We had three families, two with children. Thankfully they sat us in the back because our kids were tired but enjoyed the experience.

Was warming greeted by the owner- Ivan (american name) He was so nice and kind . He made my guests feel instantly welcomed. Did not have a reservation and he set us instantly. Was so charming even cracked a couple of jokes and checked on us throughout the wonderful experience. Hands down I would say this is the best restaurant that I've ever been to in my whole entire life. The hibachi chef was so amazing you could tell that he had years of training. The servers were beyond gracious always there the exact moment that anything was needed. I've been in the restaurant industry my whole entire life and this hands down beats any place I've ever been Chicago, New York, even Milan. I would recommend this place to anyone! Japanese hibachi taken to another level. Heart stopping phenomenal drinks and atmosphere that will just leave you quenching for more. Wish I could give it 10 Stars. If you're in town make sure you stop by and check out this once in a lifetime experience.

The food and service were very good. The lady sweeping with a broom provided constant banging noises the entire time. I guess she couldn't figure out how to keep the plastic parts from hitting each other. It was very loud and constant. Please educate.

I was discriminated by the host and lied to about her being the manager which I been coming for yrs, and the younger lady today on 8/22/24 overlooked me and ask the two white couples that was behind me” who was here first”, and I was standing at the podium in line first one in front and she thought she didn’t do anything wrong n try to catch an attitude because I told her “ she was rude. I never eat at that place ever again. And the first couple peep how the lady treated me and left as well. And I spent close to 30.00 smh

We enjoy their teppanyaki. Chefs at the teppanyaki table have always kept the kids engaged with cool moves and have made a balloon animal for the kids a few times! My son always enjoys the visit.
Best to book in advance, otherwise can be a long waiting line!

The food is good but they will charge you prices higher than what is stated on the menu. Hopefully, they will use the money from overcharging to invest in new menus to prevent customers from feeling like they are being scammed.

Great sushi, we've been a customer for years, but when we called ahead to know if they're wearing masks they lied and said all staff wear masks. When we drove 20min to go to the restaurant we saw they are NOT wearing masks. When I asked the front desk, the lady said, "some of them do". I don't care if you wear masks or not, I care that you wasted my time. Don't lie to customers.
I fell for this place instantly after seeing fresh flowers in each tables . Very clean & decently decorated. Will give you a classic Japanese vibe .
We ordered Shrimp dumplings as appetizer; omm it was good . I took Yaki soba with Shrimp ; I didn’t like it that much . My husband took red snapper with fried rice ; fish was good with decent portion & the rice was just okay .
I wish I could leave a 5 star since I liked the ambiance but my main dish went wrong .

Great service, great atmosphere. Food was good but not excellent. Overall, I would have liked to give a 4.5* but google doesn’t have that option so giving a 5 ? I had the red snapper dish and it was good.
The place has a 3.9/5 rating I don’t know why it has such a low one; should at least have close to 4.5.
