Hands down the best desserts the size of your head along with generous portions of food! As far as the quality of food for the price doesn't quite add up. We ordered the prime rib (not cooked to order) that came with corn on the cob, beans and rice. Nothing impressive. The salads were great! Fresh and generous amounts of dressing with homemade croutons. Ordered their potatoe skins, garlic dip, and crab cake- same generous portions but okay at best. The French onion soup passed my expectations- recommended! I want to believe that they do specific dishes really well and definitely come for the desserts!!

This was our 2nd visit to Yesterdays. The first visit was good, I came back to try there Great Scott's Burger they don't serve it Friday through Sunday only weekdays. The burger was awesome, fresh and very delicious. I will recommend trying it.

My husband made reservations for valentines. Never again will I waste my time or money on this place. The fish smell was overwhelming, couldn't eat my food. We waited well over an hour crammed by the backdoor. Plus all the cobwebs and dust. It was like eating in a hoarders house. The servers kept bumping into my back during the whole meal. I will go across the street to Capri- perfection every single time.

Went to pick up a piece of cake and I knew it would be busy because of Valentine’s Day, but they have one person seating and doing to go desserts. An hour wait for a slice of cake that already in existence is ridiculous.

Carol is an absolutely fantastic bartender—so kind, welcoming, and genuinely wonderful. We love sitting at the bar and chatting with her while enjoying truly top-tier service. The other staff members are extremely knowledgeable, kind and hard working. The drinks are consistently excellent, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the food is delicious, and the desserts are incredibly tasty. Plus, the portions are generous, which is always a win. We keep coming back because it never disappoints.

I was 45 years old when I first heard of this place. Service on food was slow but the server was on point. Food was great, Filet and Lobster, two thumbs up. French onion soup is legit and my wife and I took home the dessert because there wasn't any room. The atmosphere, the coziness, the Notre Dame memorabilia was awesome. Worth every penny.

Our server was amazing, very well spoken, very knowledgeable, and very respectful. Wish I could remember her name. But she was amazing. All I can remember from listening to her talk to other couples, is she may have a kid at Penn high School if that helps. I would definitely return again. Food also was amazing as usual.

Another disappointment! Reservations made. Arrive to learn desserts cannot be served because once again, Evonne (owner) isn’t there. Really…she won’t allow anyone else to put dessert on a plate. If you’re from here or coming into town for a Notre Dame game, Yesterday’s is a staple of South Bend family-owned dining. The service is excellent, and the portions are generous without sacrificing quality, making it feel like a complete dining experience. My wife and I ordered the prime rib, and it was outstanding we’ll definitely be back soon to order it again.

You know I was a bit disappointed today. I had a taste for cheesecake and drove all the way from MI, got there before they opened only to get up to the door and see a sign that says no desserts were going to be served because the desert girl was not there today. I thought that was a bit odd, the desserts are the main attraction! There isn't another place in that area that even comes close to their desserts. Hopefully they are able to get more help so that they don't run into this issue again.
