Absolutely fantastic every time we've eaten there. We requested a special dessert, the crepes, and got lemon curd and filling. The steaks are so tender and wonderful. Always different specials, my husband said the swordfish was fantastic.Great service, and excellent prices for what you get.

The best fine dining experience in Central Indiana. The historic Carnegie Library has the best atmosphere to enjoy the delicious food that the kitchen staff creates. The waitresses are friendly, courteous and very attentive to the customers. The owner/head chef makes his rounds around the dining room to ensure that everyone is enjoying the food and service that this excellent establishment provides. Can't wait to dine there again!

This local steakhouse is a small town jem. The historic building provides a unique and romantic setting for all to enjoy. Our evening started with bread, oil, and perfect cocktails. We decided to try some of the evening specials, a puree soup that was fabulous, and sea scallops uniquely prepared. Our other main was the salmon dish, also a delicious choice. We concluded our evening with the creme Brule, and a special white cake drizzling with a caramel sauce. Both deserts were amazing. This was our first 'date night' to Carnegie's. The staff was pleasant and overly helpful throughout our dinner, which is always so nice. The ambiance included a young lady on the piano playing recognizable tunes. That is always a favorite of ours. This was a memorable experience. We both agree we will be back.

This is one of my favorite special occasion restaurants. Set up in the basement of an old Carnegie library, the ambiance is warm and inviting, and the food is amazing. I had one of the evening specials, the beef wellington, and it was superb.

Enjoyed our dinner, not really child friendly, but we made it work. Menu is very limited, I would have paid more for a ribeye option over the New York strip. The beef tenderloins were good and tender ( highly suggest these over the strip steak). Would definitely go back. There are not many options in Greenfield for a good steak.
Went here on a recommendation and let me just say it did not disappoint. The Roasted Red pepper soup will change your life!

Great service and food. The music was relaxing and not intrusive as it can be in some restaurants. It was our first time to eat here and the waitress was very patient with us. She answered questions about the building and it's history as well as how the food is cooked. She was happy to talk to us and make us feel welcome. I had the Beef Medallions and my husband had the New York Strip. My medallions were tender and very tasty. The green beans were fresh and not over cooked. They were cooked with onions, scallions, and tomatoes with a beef sauce. I chose the Crème Brûlée for desert. It was absolutely wonderful. It was an enjoyable dinner. The cost was more than the usual places we go to but well worth it.

Appetizers came the same time the main course did, which also came late. Drinks came late, and my wine had a live bug in it. Food was mediocre. I didn't eat much, nor did I take it home to my GSD's. I did, however, tip the waitresses well..... mostly not there falt.
