We had the buffet with additional bbq ribs. The ribs were sweet and falling off the bone. The buffet had what seemed like all fresh food. Staff monitored the bar constantly. I was looking at the chicken a little to long when a woman asked me if I needed anything. I told her I was looking for chicken legs and all I could see were breast and thighs. She asked what table I was at. She brought me out two drumsticks.
We went for Thanksgiving dinner, and they were packed. The staff was wonderful, the food was great, everything you can think of they had (turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, salads galore, desserts, etc), tables were cleared quickly so we didn't even have to wait for a table. We thanked our server and asked she relay to the manager how great our visit was, and to please thank everyone for working and doing such a spectacular job!!
Ponderosa was a very gratifying dining treat, if you like variety Ponderosa is a good choice... the Fried Chicken was very good... and the pricing was very good to under $27 for two people... they have expanded their salad bar and it was really good....
