It has been difficult to find a good burger here but The Mug delivered. The jalapeno popper burger amazing. Must pair it with the garlic fries.

25 plus minute wait with only three customers total. Two of which were larger orders (4 people). Burger buns soak in grease to the point they were inedible. Garlic fries were so soggy and the garlic was so burnt they also went to the trash. Sadly won’t return.

We went because of all the good ratings but were disappointed. First of all it took 35+ minutes to get our food, the order they took was wrong and the food wasn’t worth the wait. Chicken tenders were tasteless, the mac&cheese tasted like made from Velveeta, and the Aunt Pattie’s grilled cheese had hardly any cheese in it.And I think they served us frozen fries, don’t think they were house made.

Every year we ride from Indianapolis IN attend the Riley Days Festival Event. We always eat @The Mug. In years past, the service has been very friendly. This year we stepped up to the counter to order our food around 2 PM. My wife ordered her usual Sloppy Joe. I took awhile to look over the menu which irritated the older lady behind the counter. I ordered the Carolina style pulled pork. It was apparent she didn't know what I meant. I then said that I'm have the pulled pork with coleslaw. She informed me that she can't make that because no coleslaw was made yet. I asked why since the restaurant opened @10:00AM. She gave the excuse that the 10:00 AM person didn't come in. I said that I doubt that the restaurant was busy @10:00 AM, and surely someone could have made the coleslaw if they managed their time. I had no choice but to change my order to the breaded pork tenderloin. Because of this inappropriate interaction, we will find another eating establishment.

I didn’t know you could legally serve someone a cold grilled cheese sandwich. And soggy fries with minced garlic chunks, barely cooked. Wish I never came here… the only good thing I had was the root beer! They weren’t even busy and it took almost half an hour for walk up service.

I just ate here and I am extremely disappointed. We all got smash burgers. The hamburger was clearly low grade quality meat. It tastes similar to a JTM or another patty that has extra parts from the cattle; such as hearts and livers. Trust me I know the taste. I worked in a meat department for years. The fries were also low quality. However, the root beer on tap was good. They are also VERY overpriced. $48 for 3 smash burgers, 3 fries, and 3 root beers! I do NOT recommend this establishment.
Great little spot in Greenfield. Excellent smash burgers and ice cream. Bbq sauce is very nice as well. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. Nice little park across the street also.
