Our waitress Rachel was amazing, she suggested good food from the menu and we decided from there. My husband had the 2 pork chops with a baked potato and broccoli, I myself had the triple four cheese stacked sandwich with tomato soup and French fries. Both were very delicious would definitely recommend both of these dishes if you ever go to petro truck stop head in to the iron skillet restaurant ask for Rachel or Jennifer.
I should have taken pictures but this time I didn’t. But if you take a good persons word it’s definitely worth it.

It's cold as hell in the restaurant, so don't be surprised if you wind up eating ice, instead of a nice, hot meal.

I came in early, asking if the restaurant actually honored the current promotion being sponsored by T/A& Petro. And was told emphatically, "yes". So, I ordered a chicken fried steak, hash browns extra crispy, and additional eggs, all to be cooked - over easy.

I was ready to pay cash, after having the promotion used, but the waitress that said yes, had no idea how to redeem it. Why say yes, if you don't know!? She was trying to call someone else on the phone, while things were starting to pick up, and that's when another waitress presented my order (it was to go) and of course, it looked like nothing I had ordered.

The hash browns weren't crispy in any way, and the eggs were so overcooked - I could have used them as frisbees.

My daughter and I ate here and it was absolutely disgusting neither one of us were able to eat anything that’s truly how bad it was.

Parking: It’s ok should have a place to park

Kid-friendliness: It’s just a normal truck stop

I don’t recommend this place, I waited a very long time for my order, when they brought it, the steak was burnt and not tasty. Denys is much tastier and cheaper

I was having a rough day today, due to driving all night and really hungry. Once I walked in and waited maybe two minutes, Brittany came from behind the door with a big smile. She was patient, even ask another server the best way to ring up my food for the best deal I’m assuming. The fact she asked detailed questions, gave me two different menus, didn’t rush me, and smiled I was already sold on the place. She was on point about the wait time, but to really seal the deal today, my food was hot, fresh, my chicken breast was seasoned just right, the eggs cooked to perfection. This might be small to some but when a truck driver has a rough day, and comes in to great food and service. Let’s just say the rest of the day will be awesome. Thanks so much to Brittany, and whoever the cook was because this put me in a better mood.

Greasy spoon, old school diner food. So be aware! The service was great though, very welcoming and efficient.

Zero plant based options as a full meal.
Get with the times. Vegetarian options are still unethical.
