Kids love this place! A wide variety of ice cream dishes and flavors. I love it too and it’s decent pricing. Open late and great service too. Will come back… go check it out for some family time and have a game of putt putt while your at it!

Everything was excellent. The flurry had lots of toppings and was much better than the big chain places. The staff was friendly and we the whole experience was positive.

We do frequent the Sweet Shop in the summertime. Great ice cream and a bonus is they keep the AC cranked on the inside. If you take your time giving your order with your face close to the window, you can for sure get a great rush of cold air to wash away that summer sweat. That makes me think this place is really close to ice cream heaven. I mean, we’ve all been to those places with cheap soft serve mix that sends you into an uncontrollable spiral of stomach cramping and regret. But not the Sweet Shop. Top quality ice cream leads to top quality satisfaction. And I always leave here satisfied and smiling.5 stars

You like Dairy Queen but want something better? Enjoy going to the park for putt putt, skating, basketball, or disc golf but need a snack? Parkside Sweet Shoppe has you covered! Whoever had the insight of placing an ice cream place in a park was brilliant! Parkside does serve soft serve which I usually avoid for the real stuff, but the soft serve that Parkside has a real ice cream taste that I have enjoyed each time. First time, I had the dipped cone in chocolate with chocolate ice cream. Later on, I had the Smores flurry with chocolate ice cream and graham cracker. I think there was a little bit of marshmellow. But the small was about $5 but this was not your Dairy Queen small. The small was not that small. I would hate to see what the medium and large looked like. There is a variety of items on the menu and they even serve burgers and hot dogs. It's really hard not to be pleased by ice cream especially after having a great time in the park beforehand.
