I was fortunate enough to hear from the owners sister that she believed that her brothers place made the best breaded tenderloin in Howard County. Those are mighty big words considering the two restaurants in Kokomo that make giant tenderloin and have competed against each other for decades. 15 years ago I purchased one from the restaurant in Kokomo just off of markland and drove to Greentown and ordered one here. The difference is night and day. The one from Kokomo is like a thin processed fritter. Rodney’s has been hand sliced, pounded, then hand breaded in a wonderful onion ring type of breading. Deep fried and dressed with tomato and onion and lettuce and mayonnaise and pickles. This sandwich is made from scratch and it shows. The taste is amazing. I live 6 1/2 hours away and drive through once or twice a year. I always stop and order a couple breaded tenderloin, one for me and one for my wife. I dare you to have your own competition because Rodney’s will change your idea of just what a real breaded tenderloin is supposed to be like.

The people here were so nice, the food was excellent and their town was beautiful. A great place to stop for the whole family.
Vegetarian options: They have a few things they can make vegetarian. My wife is vegetarian and they let her eat food from somewhere else with the rest of us who aren’t vegetarian.
Kid-friendliness: There were other kids there and they had a bowling video game.
