Applebee's Grill + Bar

Stopped here last weekend traveling. Decided on the special of grilled beef and cheese sandwich with tomato basil soup. I didn’t have the bbq sauce on the sandwich because I don’t eat pork. We got the all around appetizer and that was great. Our server was very nice. Lots of what is on the menu is deep fried.

Absolutely terrible experience.
I placed a mobile order and showed up on time, then stood there for 45 minutes with several DoorDash drivers who were also waiting. Not a single employee acknowledged any of us. At this point, I’m assuming they thought I was just another DoorDash driver waiting for a pickup, because at least 10 servers walked past without saying a word.

Finally, my girlfriend asked someone what was going on—only to find out our food had been ready long before I even arrived. It had just been sitting there. By the time they handed it over, it was completely cold. And to make it worse, they weren’t checking or managing any of the DoorDash orders either. The only reason they suddenly cared about mine was because they realized we were actually eating it.

Then the manager came over and tried to make it right by giving us two $20 complimentary gift certificates. Except one of them was already expired—it said it expired on November 30th, 2025. So not only was it unusable, it felt like an insult to my intelligence. It didn’t help; it made the entire experience ten times more frustrating.

This was easily one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. I won’t be returning. If you can’t handle online ordering…don’t do online ordering.

I took my daughter to her favorite place for her 21st bday. We were lucky to have Reajah as our server. She was amazing and took great care of the birthday girl. I appreciate her kindness and she made sure we were well taken care of. I appreciate her making my babies dinner a great experience. Kudos to Reajah i hope that Applebee's know what an amazing staff member they have in you. Give that girl a raise and a praise 🙌🏾🙌🏾💙💙💙 We ordered the pickle fries 9/10, riblet basket 10/10 coleslaw 1/10, boneless chicken wings extra hot 5/10 due to not being spicy at all, spinach artichoke dip 10/10 chips that came with the dip 4/10 due to being highly salty.

Had the most incompetent and slow server of our lives tonight. The “Peru” woman as her manager described. Mixed our drinks up and then demanded we taste our drinks in-front of her to sort them out. She also was told no lettuce and tomato on a burger and brought it out with absolutely no bun, just a patty. She brought our alcohol 40 minutes after it had been ordered and we had already eaten half of our meals. The whole time she was sitting at the bar eating and licking her fingers. She has to be sleeping with someone in the restaurant to be able to give us such a horrible service and her manager just say “we’ve had a long day today”. Absolutely unacceptable service and truly the most horrible service I’ve ever received at an Applebees. We should have left after seeing the review about the roach swimming in someone’s dip.

Horrible service. We waited 45 minutes just for lemons and straws, and over an hour for our food. We had to get back on our bus, so we asked for everything to-go, even though it still hadn’t arrived.

When the server finally brought the food out—on plates, we reminded him that it needed to be boxed, and he rolled his eyes at us. Completely unprofessional.

Overall, extremely disappointing experience. We will not be returning.

Worst experience ever!!!
The service was terrible! We were on a time crunch and it took them 40+ minutes just to bring our appetizers. The food was cold, not even hot, after we had to wait just for some appetizers. The waiters were rude and didn’t check on us at all. It was very hot in the restaurant and we paid for our meal prior(due to the time crunch). We didn’t receive all of our food, nor did we get a refund. DO NOT COME HERE.

ROACH FIGHTING FOR AIR IN SPINACH DIP
writing this on the mall toilet… blazing hot in the restaurant, cold food that was appetizers at that and got it after an hour and a half, rude waiters, waiter saw us twice and took 45 minutes for a straw and lemons…. AND THEN THERE WAS A ROACH. ALIVE!!! in my SPINACH DIP. shut them down tonight.

Came to pick up my mobile order (just pickle fries) stood around 10 minutes. Nobody said anything to me , just ignored me and when I asked where I could pick up my mobile order everyone look frustrated and bothered .

Came for Veterans Day free veterans mail place is swamped watched waitress walk by multiple times not checking on me... Saw her walk by talk to her other tables multiple times customers before me and customers after me...no steaksauce ...tea empty waitress walks by and doesn't check on me just her other tables

While sitting with my girlfriend and her friends, we were just casually sitting next to the bar conversing. Let me say first off the bartender Mars, was excellent 👌 what wasn't though was Kim, she thinks she is entitled enough to think we were talking about her (nobody even paid attention to her bc she's so irrelevant) so, in response to that she called her son in to come and threaten myself, and my girlfriend with physical violence. Management placed the blame on us. And didnt reprimand their employees. Very unprofessional. Plus the pepsi was flat😋
