My wife needed a haircut and I needed some breakfast. Good thing there was a breakfast restaurant next to a Great Clips!
We arrived and were seated immediately in a booth. There were two other large parties (8+) in house, so they were loud and distracting. Not the restaurant's fault, but nonetheless...
My wife ordered the crepes combo with eggs, bacon, and potatoes while I ordered the Mago Skillet with pancakes. When the food arrived, we dug in.
She enjoyed her crepes just fine, but her bacon tasted like it had been frozen and old and the eggs were kind of mediocre. My skillet was spiced a bit too much to my liking and was almost too greasy. I expect grease from a meat skillet, but this was overwhelming and didn't sit well.
If we were in need of breakfast and close by, we would probably choose somewhere else.

Ordered pancakes. 45 minutes later still no food. Other patrons came after us and received their food. My sister and I were the only blacks in the establishment. They clearly didn’t want to serve us. We were very cordial when asking how long is the wait for our food. Meanwhile everyone arriving after us had their food. So after waiting 45 minutes, we got up to leave. Told waitress the wait was ridiculous. Her response, “well… we have no control over it”. No apologies. If Ari’s Pancakes don’t serve black peoples , they should’ve told us before we set down. I get it. It’s Greenwood. I don’t go nor eat where I’m not wanted. Black people beware!!

Only serviceable items from here is the drinks as there is no room for human input. We had to wait almost 20 minutes for someone to take our drink order and another few minutes for them to arrive. The waffle were soggy and the pancakes were hard

Left waiting for over 35 minutes in the morning for a veggie omlette and oj. Was not busy yet could not handle morning Doordash orders.

We got the Mago Skillet with pancakes and the T-bone steak and eggs. Portions were great! Steak and eggs were cooked perfectly, and the steak had excellent flavor. Home fries were cooked perfectly, they just need a little bit of salt. But I would prefer not enough salt instead of too much salt. The pancakes had a slight metallic aftertaste, so I think that might be the batter. But the texture was nice and fluffy and good portions. We also ordered 10 pork and chicken tamales to go. The tamales were phenomenal. Great portion, plenty of filling, and just needed a little pinch of salt on top to make it perfect. We reheated them at home and ate them over the next few days. They were great. My family is from Mexico, and my dad said these reminded him of the tamales he had growing up. They are the best he’s had in the U.S. The prices were great. We got to speak to some of the people that work there, and they are all family. It was really cool to see them all working together. Portions, flavors, price, and service were great!

Food was alright. Service was okay. Atmosphere could use some work. Like paint. And floors needed swept, but was after breakfast rush so might just not have done it yet Nothing great but not bad. Would go again.
