I'll put 4 stars because this is a small local business. I got a sandwich and the bread was rock-hard and my coffee had a dead fly in it. My barista gave me a new sandwich, but the bread was still unyielding. Good business practice would have been to refund me and apologize. Hopefully this was a one off situatation.
We try just about every coffee shop that opens in Indy and, to date, we vote Brickhouse as the best. The coffee's so fresh you would think the tree is growing behind the building. We're here at least once a week, if not twice, to celebrate in espresso heaven. ☕
If I could give feedback, I'd wish for the indoor seating to improve. Better tables for 2-4, especially in the winter. And waiting for coffee can be awkward when your rear end is right...

I go here for coffee and a pastry several times a week and enjoy the experience very much. The coffee is very good but I go for the atmosphere mostly. I find the people very upbeat and positive as well as nice coffee house music to read the news. I would recommend that you give it a try!
