El Toro Bravo of Greenwood

We’re here about twice a month and it never disappoints. The food is good, portions are good, and the price is right. The birra tacos are fantastic as are the Mexican tacos with chorizo. Always recommend to my Freunds that live around Greenwood.

Have been here many times. Seems like this location is not as good as it once was. Lettuce looked old gave you barley any sour cream. I highly recommend the southport rd location.

Authentic mexican food! The quantity was good and price was reasonable. I would recommend their cantarito from the drinks menu. Its really good!

My sister and I split a taco salad and had two drinks each.. our bill was over a 100$..
Called to speak to Manager and got a “sorry” and he HUNG UP ON ME! I will never go back and will tell everyone I know of my experience:(. He didn’t sound SORRY to me!

Facts:

1. We ordered food to go.

2. We arrived 20 minutes before they closed, and were met with locked doors.

3. We called to say that we're here to pick up the food, and they told us that they're closed, the needed to close their drawers, and hung up on us.

4. After trying to explain that my girlfriend is sick and really needed this food, we get yelled at and told to come back — BECAUSE, they gave our food to someone else, even after they called to verify that we were on our way. They said they might give us a discount next time. 😂

Keep your discount along with your RUDE, FLIPPANT, and UNPROFESSIONAL behavior. I will never spend another dime at an establishment that wastes our time, and make incorrect, silly assumptions.

The food was bland and basic. For appetizers we ordered guacamole and nachos. The guac was very bland. Only avocado and tomatoes in it. No salt or pepper. The nachos tasted nothing like nachos. There was bell peppers on the nachos with no beans or even cheddar cheese. They used a different cheese that did not taste good. The entrees were all very bland. I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants in the past (out of state) and this is not worth the hype. Only go here if you want Instagram worthy drinks. Service is alright. We had to ask for the table to be cleared after we finished our appetizers. No one came to greet us at our table when we were seated. But the server was nice once he did come introduce himself. Overall , this place is overhyped. Very disappointed.

The tilapia dish was terrible. Thin small service of fish on a very large portion of Sautee vegetables. Dry rice and on top of the rice French fries? How does that make sense. Two stars is very generous simply because the margaritas are good.

Food was good. Plenty of servers, and great customer service. We saw the bad reviews from last week, but that was about the service, not food. It may have been due to a staff shortage, but tonight service was good. No complaints from us. We will definitely go there again.
