Food was okay, but definitely not like the original Lotus Garden. Service was fine. The egg rolls were not hot so they brought us 2 more.*** Was back for dinner on July 30th 2024 and saw May ( from previous Lotus location) She's so sweet and a wonderful server. Ate with the hubby and #1 daughter. Food was fantastic. Thanks ?

Gross. Food had been sitting around for a LONG time. No checking in for refills on drinks.

Edited to add: I came upon this old review and remembered why I was so glib in writing it. My mother wanted to stop for food on the way back from an appointment, so I took her here as a treat for lunch. Neither of us had ever been; not only was the food bad, but they treated my mother very rudely. Thus the curt tone of the review.

My lunch special was NOT good. Too little chicken and it had an after taste. The fried rice was cold and seemed to just be rice with soy sauce poured over it.

We were hesitant to try the new location as we loved the old one so much. I am pleasantly surprised at how much I love the new location even more. It still has the Lotus Garden feel but the food is phenomenal. We ordered to-go, which took about 15 minutes. When we received the food, they had placed the sauce in a separate container so as to not let the chicken get soggy. The chicken was all white meat, fresh, and crispy. The fried rice was exactly the same as it used to be. No vegetables or egg included but still thoroughly delicious. Please do yourself a favor and try the new location if you haven't yet.

I also inquired about the Koi fish we all grew to love- they grew too big for the restaurant and are swimming happily in a garden.

Yes when I came to the restaurant I asked the two guys in front what vegetables will come in the vegetable fried rice and one guy was willing to tell me all the veggies that would come in it and I asked to have some of those taken off. And then I couldn't remember all the ingredients he said so I asked to have repeated and the other guy was a little bit edgy with me and didn't want to repeat what veggies came on it because there's certain things I can't
chew. So the veggies that were mentioning were onions green onions carrots bean sprouts pea pods and peas which I was okay with. And they did not mention that there would be mushrooms or baby bok choy in my rice or I would have asked them to take that off also. Also I really like onions in my rice and there were no onions at all. Also it was quite a bit of egg in it to fill up space. I'm not accustomed to having quite that much egg and my rice. Other than that the taste of the rice is good but like I said not as enjoyable because of the missing onion which is a flavor I REALLY love in my rice.

Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options such as veggie fried rice.

Food is always great and plenty. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is quite, not loud. TV is there for you if you want. I'm not much of a chinese food person, but I keep going back.

Parking: Strip mall and Walmart, so plenty of parking.

We had the sweet and sour shrimp, crispy duck and fried pork. It was absolutely delicious. It was fresh, the flavors were distinctive and we will definitely be back.
